Artificer
Base Class: Artificer

Subclass Overview: As a Disciple of the Omnissiah, you revere the art of machinery and the sanctity of invention. Your quest is to seek out lost technology, restore ancient artifacts, and push the boundaries of arcane-infused mechanics. You believe that in the perfect fusion of magic and machine lies the truest form of enlightenment and power.

Machine Initiation

Mechanical Acolyte: You gain proficiency with Smith's tools and Tinker's tools. You can use these tools to channel your Artificer spells, using cogs and gears to craft temporary arcane devices that replicate spell effects.

Rites of Activation: When you cast an Artificer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose a piece of machinery you touch to become an empowered conduit. For the next minute, any creature that interacts with the machine gains a benefit (temporary hit points, a bonus to an ability check, or a bonus to attack rolls) determined by the spell slot level used.

Arcane Mechanist

Machine Bond: You can perform a ritual to bond with a large machine or construct, such as a siege engine or an animated armor. While bonded, you can communicate with the machine telepathically and perceive through its senses as if you were located where it is. This bond lasts until you form a new one.

Enhanced Constructs: Any construct you create or control gains additional hit points and a bonus to damage rolls equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Doctrine of the Machine

Sacred Patterns: You have learned to recognize and replicate the sacred patterns used by the Omnissiah's disciples. You can inscribe these patterns onto a machine or construct to grant it a special property, such as resistance to a damage type or an additional action option.

Tech-Priest's Insight: You gain the ability to cast identify and detect magic at will, without expending a spell slot, but only on machines and constructs.

Omnissiah's Chosen

Machine Ascendancy: You can cast arcane eye, fabricate, wall of force, and animate objects without expending a spell slot, but only when used in conjunction with machines or mechanical constructs.

Divine Machine Integration: You can integrate a wondrous machine into your body, gaining an ability such as flight, underwater breathing, or an integrated weapon. This machine can be changed during a long rest.
