College of The Bardbarian

The street performer took his lute, sharpened the side with his slain partner's favorite dagger, and raised his new weapon at the undead who killed his only friend in this world. He found a new purpose and a new name for what people like him are:  Bardbarians.

A Bardbarians Best Friend

When taking this College, you gain proficiency with martial and great weapons such as Greataxes and such. You may use your weapon of choice as a spellcasting focus. If you wish to change the weapon you want as your spellcasting focus you must spend 1 hour per 25 gold the weapon is worth bonding with that weapon.

Lightly Armored Defense

While you are only wearing light armor, your Armor Class equals your light armor class + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier.

Bardbaric Rage

At the 3rd level, you gain 2 points.  By using a bonus action, you can Rage. Raging spends a point, and you get all points back after a long rest.

It lasts for 1 minute

When Rage is activated  if you aren't wearing armor you gain these effects

• You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
• When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll per two levels in Bard
• You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
• You cannot cast spells that require concentration 
• The only spells you can cast must have an instant cast time

Bardbaric Experience

At level 6 you gain access to these spells.

Shocking Grasp

You cast these spells at the 3rd level with your spellcasting modifier being CHA and they consume a spell slot.

You also gain +1 in STR and CON, an extra attack, and an extra 2 points to spend on Rage!

Bardbaric Inspiration

At the 14th level, your anger and venomous spite enhance your allies in battle. When you bless one with your Bardic Inspiration, they may also Rage for 1 minute, and have the same effects placed upon them that you do when you Rage. You also gain another point to Rage and now your Rages are replenished by Short Resting.

You gain +1 in STR and CON, and a whopping +2 in DEX!
