Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

You are a shock trooper, a specially-trained member of the military, or former member, who is adept at the usage of explosives and firearms.

Black Ops

At 3rd level, you gain one of the following features of your choice.

Ambush Master

You are an expert in defeating your enemies swiftly and neatly. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, the creature takes an extra 3d6 damage if it at maximum hit points.

Crowd Controller

Once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack, you can make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon.

Sniper

Ranged weapon attacks you make with disadvantage (including attacks made with both advantage and disadvantage, cancelling out) deal 2d8 additional damage. You can use this benefit only once per turn.

Expert Training

At 7th level, you gain expertise in Insight, Stealth, or Medicine, whichever skill you gained proficiency in at 3rd level. In addition, you gain expertise with one weapon of your choice.

Insight

You gain expertise with the Insight skill. Add double your proficiency bonus to checks using this skill.

Medicine

You gain expertise in the medicine skill. Add double your proficiency bonus to checks made using that skill.

Stealth

You gain expertise with the Stealth skill. Add double your proficiency bonus to checks using this skill.

Lethal Efficiency

At 11th level, you gain one of the following features of your choice.

Burst Shot

You can use your action to shoot a deadly blast out from a firearm you are wielding. Each creature in a 30-foot cone originating at your weapon must make a Dexterity saving throw contested by your ranged attack roll. You make one attack roll regardless of the number of targets. If a creature succeeds, they take the weapon's regular damage, minus 1d6. On a failure, they take two additional dice of the same size as the weapon deals of the same type of damage.

Takedown

You can use your action to make a melee attack against a creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, it makes a Strength saving throw or is knocked prone and is restrained. Then, on a hit, you may make one attack against the target, dealing an extra d4 damage of the same type on a hit.

Improved Black Ops

At 15th level, you gain an improvement to your Black Ops feature.

Deadeye

When you make an attack roll with advantage, you roll three dice and take the highest of the three rolls, rather than the highest of two. If you make an attack roll with both advantage and disadvantage, thus cancelling each other out, you roll two dice and take the higher of the two.

Evasion

When you are subjected to an effect, such as a red dragon’s fiery breath or a lightning bolt spell, that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Pouncing Strike

While you are not [Tooltip Not Found] or Incapacitated, you have advantage on all initiative rolls.
