Base Class: Bard

These bards decide to dedicate their artistic talent to emulate the sun's brightness and light. They wield to mystical bedazzling power of the sun, with some bard using the destructive rage of the sun in their music, while others use its kinder and more life-giving side. Some bards still simply emulate its light and radiance, becoming a vessel for its very magic.

Radiant Inspiration

At 3rd level, you can use your bonus action to expend one of your bardic inspiration dice to enhance an ally's weapon with radiance. The next time they hit on an attack, the targeted creature must make a constitution save or be blinded as the weapon explodes with a radiant light.

Body of light

At 3rd level, you become more attuned to the sun. You gain resistance to radiant damage and can radiate bright light for 20ft and dim light for another 20ft. You can turn the light on and off as a bonus action.

Aspect of the Sun

At 6th level, your attunement to the sun greatens as your Radiant inspiration improves. Choose one of the following aspects to follow. 

Blazing Cheer

When you use the Radiant Inspiration feature, the inspired creature deals extra fire damage equal to your Bardic Inspiration dice, causing the enemy to catch fire. While on fire you can repeat the damage to the creature as a bonus action on each of your turns. The affected creature will remain on fire for 1 minute unless they use an action to put out the flames.

Radiant Performance

As an action, you can cause any number of creatures you choose within 40ft to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a Fail, they are stunned until their next turn and take an amount of damage equal to your inspiration dice. Once this feature is used, you can't use it again until you take a long or short rest.

Solar Soul

At 14th level, you can choose to summon a glowing halo above your head as an action. The halo emits bright light for 100ft and dim light for another 100ft. When you summon the halo, you can choose a number of creatures up to your Charisma modifier within 40ft of you. The creatures you choose regain a number of hit points equal to 3d10. As a bonus action on each of your turns, you can repeat this healing for the next minute.  

Alternatively, you can choose to envelop your weapon in radiant light and form a large fiery bow. When summoned in this way, you can attack twice on your turn rather than once, and your attacks deal an additional 3d6 fire damage.
