Base Class: Monk

Legend tells of a nomadic monk who went from town to town cleaning up evildoers and their organizations singlehandedly. It was said he won every fight with a single kick. In his old age, he taught his ways to a few handpicked individuals and started the Way of the Round house. With his techniques, Round House monks learning effective fighting techniques, powerful kicks, and conservation of energy. Dojos of this tradition can be recognized near and far for their large half dome buildings and their willingness to teach basic techniques to all who come.

Round House Kick

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can choose to make a roundhouse kick as an unarmed strike. Round House Kicks have the following effects:

  • -5 to attack roll
  • +10 to damage roll

If you have landed at least two blows on a single target on your turn and used a bonus action to attack, you may add a Round House Kick as an additional attack as the last attack of the bonus action

Measured Strikes

At 6th level, you gain the ability to maximize your combat efficacy. Your practiced rhythm and control learnt through intense training, you've learned to mix up hard and soft blows when making multiple unarmed attacks in a row. When you begin a combination attack, roll all attacks and damage simultaneously and then rearrange the dice to maximize your attacks. Once you begin the series, even if the creature is knocked unconscious you finish your form and any ki points spent in the attack are still spent.

Finishing Blow

Beginning at 11th level, you have learned to set up a finishing blow by combining your Measured Strikes and Round House Kick. If on your turn, using only unarmed strikes ending with a round house kick, you reduce a creatures hit points by half then your finishing Round House Kick rends your target unconscious.

Path of the Legend

At 17th level, you gain the ability to use a technique from another monastic tradition. The path of the legend that founded the Way of the Round House, or any legend, is to forge their own way from the resources available. Round House monks are encouraged to learn and use whatever means are available to them, and years of study and practice of a coveted technique come into fruition with the blessing of the founder. Choose any one feat from any monk subclass as use that as your 17th level feat.
