Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Much like the untamed forests and rugged mountains house innumerable hardships that a traditional barbarian might have to face during his or her time in the wilderness, the emptiness of deep space is, too, fraught with dangerous gravity wells, slip space tears, energy fluxes, and hazardous nebulas. Such is the chaos of the universe, and like the barbarian of the wilderness harnesses the power of the forest, so too does the barbarian of wild space harness the destructive capabilities of gravity to benefit them.

Event Horizon

Starting at 3rd level, you emanate an intense, almost magnetic, attractive power while you rage. The aura extends 15 feet from you in every direction, including through total cover.

Area within the aura is considered to be difficult terrain to all creatures except you. Creatures in your aura who attempt to move away from you without teleporting must first succeed a strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). Creatures who fail the save are unable to increase their own distance from you until the start of their next turn. Creatures that are more than one size larger than you have advantage on this saving throw and creatures that are at least one size smaller than you have disadvantage on this saving throw. Motion that approaches you or maintains distance from you is not otherwise impeded while in this aura.

You can select a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus who are unaffected by this aura each time you rage.

Flux Control

You have begun to understand how to finely manipulate gravity fluxes around objects to enable their quick movement. Starting at 3rd level, as an action, you can target one loose tiny object that you can see within 60ft of you. You can then move the object to your hand, or to another unoccupied space you can see that is 60ft away from the object's original space. You can move the object horizontally, vertically, or both.

Alternatively, as an action, you may touch an unconscious ally or a loose object that is Large or smaller and is capable of being physically lifted by you. While touching this object, you cause it to lift and hover several inches off of the ground, allowing it to be freely moved without slowing your movement. Objects moved in this way cannot be lifted more than 6 inches off of the ground.

Graviton Surge

Starting at 6th level, when you take the attack action on your turn, you can replace one of the attacks with a surge of gravity. If required, the save DC for your Graviton Surge is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. When you use this feature, choose one from the following options:

Attract. Target one creature that is up to 1 size larger than you that you can see within 20 ft of you. That creature must make a Strength saving throw against your save DC, or be pulled up to 20 ft towards you in a straight line, stopping when they come within 5 ft of you. Creatures can choose to willingly fail this saving throw. When the creature stops, you may make one melee weapon attack against them. If that attack successfully hits, it automatically becomes a critical hit.

Repel. Make a melee or thrown weapon attack against one target of your choice within range. If the attack successfully hits, the target takes an additional 2d10 Force damage and, if they are no more than 1 size larger than you, is pushed 15ft away from you in a straight line. At 14th level, the additional damage delt by this ability increases by an additional 2d10 (4d10 total).

Impel. You swing your weapon into the ground, forcing all creatures in a 15ft cone originating from you to make a Strength saving throw against your save DC. Creatures take 2d10 Force damage and are forced prone as gravity slams them to the ground on a fail, and take half as much damage and are not forced prone on a success. At 14th level, the additional damage delt by this ability increases by an additional 2d10 (4d10 total).

You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Singularity

You have focused your gravitational energy into a singularity within yourself, able to be contained and unleashed at will. Your Event Horizon radius increases to 30 ft in every direction. Creatures that start their turn within this radius or enter in for the first time on a turn must make a Strength saving throw against your Event Horizon save DC or be pulled 10 ft closer to you in a straight line and take force damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Creatures that are more than one size larger than you have advantage on this saving throw and creatures that are at least one size smaller than you have disadvantage on this saving throw. This motion does not provoke opportunity attacks and does not count as movement spent. Creatures who pass this saving throw must still make another saving throw if they wish to move away from you on their own turn, as specified by your Event Horizon ability.

Additionally,  while you are raging, you may use a bonus action to increase your gravitational attraction and force all non-immune creatures within your Event Horizon aura to make a Strength saving throw against your Event Horizon save DC. Creatures who fail this save take 4d4 Force Damage and are pulled up to 30ft towards you in a straight line and creatures  who pass take half as much damage and are not pulled. Creatures that are more than one size larger than you have advantage on this saving throw and creatures that are at least one size smaller than you have disadvantage on this saving throw. You can use this part of this ability a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses on completing a long rest.

Gravity Well

At 14th level, you have harnessed and focused your control of gravitational fluxes to be able to generate a finely-tuned well around yourself that frees you from the normal constraints of gravity. You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed and can hover. This flying speed can be utilized while raging, and in environments with extremes in gravity intensity, such as no-gravity, low-gravity, or high-gravity environments.
