Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A Marksman focuses on creating a hiding spot using camouflage, becoming practically invisible on the battlefield. Once hidden, they quickly survey the battlefield and start to eliminate enemies from a distance while remaining hidden. Creatures will begin to panic as they see their comrades falling and are unable to discover where the attacks are coming from. A Marksman thrives in the chaos and can become a force of demise in battle. A Marksman can also be patient, lying in wait. They will quickly launch a surprise attack once their target has come into range.

A Marksman is commonly hired as a soldier, assassin, spy, or bounty hunter. They are protective of their craft and techniques. They need to be careful not to give away any secrets that could be used to spot them in battle.

Sniper

You gain proficiency with firearms (see “Firearms” in the Dungeon Master’s Guide).

You ignore the loading property of firearms.

Being prone doesn't impose disadvantage on your attack rolls with ranged weapons.

Camaflouge

If a creature does not know where you are located, you can take an action to create total cover. In addition to the normal bonuses of total cover, while camouflaged:

  • You have an advantage on ranged attack rolls against any creature that does not know your location
  • Your ranged attacks do not give away your location.
  • You have advantage on any stealth roles to find your location and/or other creatures have disadvantage on perception checks to find your location.

Total Cover

A target with total cover can't be targeted directly by an attack or a spell, although some spells can reach such a target by including it in an area of effect.

Killing Shot

Starting at 9h level, your ranged weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20. If you land a critical hit you deal the maximum amount of damage.

Quick Shot

You can quickly line up shots; gain a +5 bonus to initiative, and you can make a ranged attack as a bonus action.

Killing streak

You can take another action when you kill an enemy with a ranged attack. You can trigger a sneak attack on this second action. (once per round)
