Path of The Sentinel

Warforged Barbarians who follow the path of the sentinel are adept in the defense of their companions. They tend to give up a part of their sentient freedom and follow orders, only going against them should their companions perish from them.

Favored Ally

At 3rd level, after every long rest, you choose one ally to be your favored ally. While this ally is within 5 feet of you, they gain advantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws.

Defensive Initiate

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage instills defensive instincts, granting any allies within 5 feet a plus 1 to their armor class

Starting at 10th level, the armor class bonus increases to 2. Again to 3 at level 15. And again to 4 at level 20.

Defensive Prowess

Starting at 6th level, You gain the battle Maneuver Bait and Switch.

Bait and Switch:

When you're within 5 feet of a creature on your turn, you can expend one superiority die and switch places with that creature, provided you spend at least 5 feet of movement and the creature is willing and isn't incapacitated. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

Roll the superiority die. Until the start of your next turn, you or the other creature (your choice) gains a bonus to AC equal to the number rolled.

You have 1 superiority die that you regain after a short or long rest.

You gain an additional superiority die at level 14.

Shielding Imposition

Starting at 10th level, you can spend a reaction to throw yourself in front of an incoming ranged attack toward an ally within 5 feet of you.

If you are not raged, you take half damage from this attack and your ally takes the other half.

If you are raged, you takes half damage, and your ally takes none.

You can use this ability once per long rests.

Sentinel Protection

Starting at 14th level, While you are raging, when you take an opportunity of attack on a creature who is moving toward an ally, if you hit, the creatures movement is reduced to 0.
