Base Class: Fighter
You are an average fighter, one who managed to stumble upon and become accompanied by a ghost of the past. The greatest fighter to ever live, The Cloud Lord. You gain the ability to summon a fragment of his power, a silhouette of what he once was.
Summon Cloud Lord
As a bonus action, you can summon a magical silhouette of the Cloud Lord. When Cloud Lord is summoned it will not go away unless it loses all of its health or you decided to put it away.
While active, you can choose to attack with the Cloud Lord, but this will count as either an attack/extra attack. The Cloud Lord has two different attacks you can choose to do.
Light Bringer. Cloud Lord Swings his Guan Dao, dealing 5d6 force damage to all enemies within a 75ft radius.
Prana Extirpated. Cloud Lord slams the blade of his Guan Dao into the floor, in the, dealing 10d6 force damage to all enemies within a 75ft radius, but makes the Cloud Lord unusable until you take a short rest. Cloud Lord can only attack twice within a round.
Cloud Lord has the same maximum health as you and while he is active, all damage dealt to you is transferred over to Cloud Lord instead.
When Cloud Lords Health drops to 0 he disappears and all bonuses from Cloud Lord being active are lost, and you are unable to summon him until after a short a rest, if you manually decide to put away cloud lord he can be summoned again later at anytime but he will keep the same health unless you have a short rest. Cloud Lord can be healed but any healing given to Cloud Lord does not affect you.
Cloud Lord Teamwork
All damage that you deal that isn’t dealt by Cloud Lord will be added to Cloud Lords next attack in the form of bonus force damage. The bonus force damage is doubled by Cloud Lords second attack/Prana Extirpated. The limit to the bonus damage that can be added to Cloud Lords next attack is equal to your level.
Somnus Corpus
You and Cloud Lord are starting to like each other and seamlessly work together. Whenever you attack someone when not attacking using Cloud Lord, that enemy is hit with a stack of Somnus Corpus. This is a debuff that makes cloud lords attack deal an extra dice roll, the amount of extra dice rolls equal to the amount of stacks of Somnus Corpus, the maximum amount of stacks being 5. This means that 5 extra d6s can be added to Cloud Lords Damage.
Gift of Giving
As a reaction, you can temporarily give away all of your bonuses from Cloud Lord to one of your other party members. This will last for two rounds. You can only do this twice every short rest. All of the same rules still apply to Cloud Lord. The bonuses include the Cloud Lord transferring all damage dealt to you to itself.
True Cloud Lord
Up until now you have been using a silhouette of the Cloud Lord. But now you can summon the True Cloud Lord.
True Cloud Lord is now an active Companion and can make his own turns. He will always be last in turn order/lowest initiative. He can make 1 attack per turn.(still of your choosing)
True Cloud Lord surpassed all his weaknesses and now he can use Prana Extirpated without the previously set consequences.
