Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians that undertake this path devote themselves to a deity of their choosing. In exchange for their worship, they are granted powerful spellcasting that can be used in tandem with their raging.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the cleric spell list.

Cantrips
You learn two cantrips of your choice from the cleric spell list. You learn an additional cleric cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots
The Blessed Warrior Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your cleric spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

For example, if you know the 1st-level spell guiding bolt and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast guiding bolt using either slot.

Spells Known of 1st level or higher
The Blessed Warrior table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your cleric spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

You prepare the list of cleric spells that are available for you to cast, choosing from the cleric spell list. When you do so, choose a number of cleric spells equal to the spells known tab on the blessed warrior table.

Spellcasting Ability
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your cleric spells. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a cleric spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Blessed Rage

Your god has granted you the ability to use your anger in tandem with your spellcasting. At 3rd level, you may cast and concentrate on spells while raging.

This rage is unique as only spells learned from this subclass' spellcasting feature may be cast and concentrated on. Other spells such as those cast from items or learned from backgrounds may not be cast or concentrated on while raging. In addition your rage does not end if you don't take damage or make an attack if you cast a spell instead.

Enraging Magic

At 6th level your magic has a way of driving you towards violence. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher you may also activate your rage using the same action.

Divine Wrath

When you reach 10th level, your deity has imbued a tiny part of their wrath within each of your strikes. The bonus damage granted by your rage on strength based attacks instead changes to radiant or necrotic damage depending on your alignment (good/neutral is radiant, evil is necrotic). In addition, instead of using the barbarian table to determine the extra damage, you instead use a d8.

Limited Intervention

At 14th level you may call upon your deity to provide assistance to their warrior. As an action on your turn, you may cast any cleric spell of 5th level or lower provided it's casting time is either 1 action or 1 bonus action. This counts as one of your cleric spells and thus can be concentrated on. This can only be done once per long rest.
