Monk
Base Class: Monk

Since the dawn of time, Martial artists have used thread as a weapon.  Those who follow the path of the ethereal spiders take this understanding of this simple yet effective weapon to a new level of understanding.  They create mazes of invisible threads woven loosely over one another, trapping snaring and cutting their opponents as they entwine them and render them heplpless.

Spin the ethereal thread

3rd Level:  You may increase the range of your unarmed strike by 10x proficiency modifier feet, Doing so changes the damage type to slashing damage.  Additionally, you may use this ability to use the manipulate, or aid another action at the same range.  last you can use this feature to pick up unattended objects or attempt the pull or push combat options at the same range.

Tangling the threads

You entangle a creature in your threads causing it to fall prone

The ties that bind

The target must make a strength saving throw, If it fails it becomes restrained until the beginning of your next turn.  You can extend this condition by using your attack action to hold the creature, but the creature may repeat the saving throw at the beginning of it's turn breaking free on a successful saving throw.
