Base Class: Ranger
Mist Conjurer Rangers are capable of conjuring strange mist from their enchanted arrows, which can cloud the vision of others, send out a soothing scent that has a sedative effect, or release dangerous, toxic spores. But, beware, for the mist could explode at any moment. No one knows what to expect when a Mist Conjurer Ranger loads their bow with an arrow.
Misleading Fog
Upon reaching 3rd level, you can enchant a single arrow with magic. When you next use an arrow (regardless if you miss or not), when the arrow lands, it releases a cloud of thick fog in a 15 ft. radius. This fog acts like magical darkness, you cannot see through it, even with darkvision or a light source. The fog is can be dispelled by a dispel magic spell or a strong wind. This can be used an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses on a long rest.
Sleep Scent
Starting at 7th level, you can enchant an arrow with magic. Upon shooting the arrow (regardless if you miss or not), a mysterious, soothing scent is released from the arrow. Anyone within a 10 ft. radius of where the arrow landed must succeed a constitution saving throw equal to the ranger's spell save DC or feel their muscles relax, their eyes flutter and they fall asleep for 10 minutes. The sleeper will awaken if damaged or slapped awake. This can be used an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses on a long rest.
Poisonous Gas
Starting at 11th level, you can enchant an arrow and shoot it. When shot (regardless of if it hit or not), it releases a cloud of poisonous spores in a 10ft. radius. Anyone within the radius must succeed a constitution saving throw equal to your spell save DC or take 3D6 poison damage each time they start their turn for 10 minutes. In addition, they will also be poisoned for 10 minutes. This can be used an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses on a long rest.
Misty Destruction
Starting at 15th level, every time you use any of your Ranger Architype features, you have the option to simply explode the mist. Anyone within the mist must succeed a dexterity saving throw equal to your spell save DC or take 12d6 fire damage or half on a succeeded save. The mist immediately disappears upon the use of this. This can be used an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses on a long rest.
