Base Class: Druid
Circle of Sleep Druids are capable of controlling the sleep cycles of creatures. Circle of Sleep Druids can also dive into the dreams of those same creatures that they have lulled to sleep, and alter the way that the sleeper will think when they awaken.
Druidic Lullaby
At 2nd level, you can use Druidic Lullaby. The Druid closes their eyes and sings in a hypnotic, soothing voice to a single creature within 30ft. The creature must succeed a Wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC or fall asleep for 10 minutes. The creature can be awakened by being damaged or being slapped awake. This can be done equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Tranquilising Brambles
Starting at 3rd level, when you finish a long rest, you find a mysterious bramble which seem to be laced with some kind of natural tranquiliser. You can place the tranquilising brambles on the ground wherever you want as an action. If somebody steps on the tranquilising brambles, they take 1D4 piercing damage and must succeed a constitution saving throw equal to your spell save DC or fall asleep for 10 minutes. The sleeper can be awakened by being damaged or being slapped awake.
Dream Peek
At 6th level, you unlock Dream Peek. The Druid closes their eyes and touches an unconscious creature's forehead gently, allowing the Druid to view the creature's dreams.
Enhanced Lullabies
Starting at 10th level, when you use your Druidic Lullaby, it is centred upon yourself and has a range of a 50ft. sphere. The Druid can choose which creatures to affect. The creatures must succeed a wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC + your wisdom modifier or fall asleep for 10 minutes. The sleeper will awaken upon being damaged or being slapped awake. The lullaby now is not affected by immunity to sleep or similar abilities. You can do this equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Dream Invasion
Starting at 14th level, you can use Dream Invasion. The Druid touches the forehead of a sleeping creature and the Druid also falls asleep. The Druid can then enter the dreams of the sleeping creature and talk to them or even fight them. If any damage is done to the sleeper in the dream, it is instead received as psychic damage. The Druid resists non-magical piercing, bludgeoning and slashing damage while in the dream.
This ability shapes a creature's dreams. Choose a creature known to you as the target of this spell. The target must be on the same plane of existence as you. You, or a willing creature you touch, fall asleep, acting as a messenger.
If the target is asleep, the messenger appears in the target's dreams and can converse with the target as long as it remains asleep, for up to 30 minutes. The messenger can also shape the environment of the dream, creating landscapes, objects, and other images. The messenger can emerge from the sleep at any time, ending the effect of the spell early. The target recalls the dream perfectly upon waking. If the target is awake when you use this, the messenger knows it, and can either end the interception of dreams or wait for the target to fall asleep, at which point the messenger appears in the target's dreams.
You can make the messenger appear monstrous and terrifying to the target. If you do, the messenger can deliver a message of no more than ten words and then the target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, echoes of the phantasmal monstrosity spawn a nightmare that lasts the duration of the target's sleep and prevents the target from gaining any benefit from that rest. In addition, when the target wakes up, it takes 3d6 psychic damage.
If you have a body part, lock of hair, clipping from a nail, or similar portion of the target's body, the target makes its saving throw with disadvantage.
