Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians of the Path of Unchained Fury are less concerned with the subtleties of combat tactics and more focused on overwhelming their foes with sheer brute force. They become living weapons, charging headlong into battle without fear or hesitation, leaving chaos and destruction in their wake. Their attacks are wild and uncontrolled, but no less devastating for their lack of finesse. Each blow lands with bone-crushing force, and their enemies quickly learn to fear the relentless onslaught of these berserkers.

As they progress along this path, Barbarians gain the ability to tap into an unyielding reservoir of rage, allowing them to shrug off pain and ignore the constraints of their own physical limitations, as well as resist magical fear and charm. In battle, they become whirlwinds of destruction, striking out at enemies with unmatched ferocity and abandon. Their rage fuels them to push beyond normal limits, granting them incredible strength, speed, and endurance. Wounds that would fell lesser warriors only serve to further enrage these Barbarians, driving them to even greater feats of brutality.

However, this unrelenting rage comes at a cost. Barbarians who follow this path struggle to maintain control over their actions, often risking harm to themselves and allies in their single-minded pursuit of victory. The line between friend and foe blurs in the heat of battle, and it is not uncommon for these Barbarians to inadvertently harm those closest to them in their frenzied state. Furthermore, the toll that such mindless rage takes on their bodies and minds can be considerable, leaving them vulnerable as long as their fury continues, and makes it difficult for them to stop the boiling of their blood once it starts.

Yet, for those who embrace the chaos of their own mindless fury, the Path of Unchained Fury offers unparalleled power on the battlefield. In the heart of combat, they are nigh unstoppable juggernauts, carving a path of destruction through enemy ranks with unmatched ferocity. For Barbarians who seek to unleash the primal forces within them and revel in the thrill of pure, unadulterated combat, there is no path more fitting than the Path of Unchained Fury.

Blind Fury

While raging, you can choose to enter a blind fury. You can make a single melee weapon attack as a bonus action on each of your turns after this one. As long as your rage persists, you cannot take reactions and you cannot end your rage of your own volition.

Once you reach level 15 in this class, you regain the ability to voluntarily end your rage.

Uncaring Bloodlust

Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.

Frenzied Roar

Beginning at 10th level, you can use your bonus action to frighten creatures with your menacing presence. When you do so, creatures that you can see within 30 feet of you, if they can see or hear you, must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be frightened of you for one minute. Creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn, ending this effect on a success. This effect also ends if the creature ends its turn out of line of sight or more than 60 feet away from you.

If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.

Brutal Retaliation

Starting at 14th level, if you are raging and were damaged by an enemy since your last turn, you can attack thrice instead of twice when you take the attack action. The third attack must target an enemy that hit you.
