Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians are known for their primal instincts in battle, but there exist individuals that take it further. These few and rare individuals have taken the Dragon's Path and tend to be recluses that live far away from civilization often alone living with nature. Having biologically adapted to become natural living weapons just like a dragon, gaining powerful scaled claws that can change shape at will. Steel like jaws able to crush rocks and near bottomless stomachs allowing them to eat inorganic matter for sustenance or to regain some health in combat. Able to grow and throw a limited number of spiked horns as a way of ranged combat. Have heightened senses within their immediate surroundings and can focus their wrath to mentally mark an enemy's characteristics for a time when they hurt them or their allies. Knowingly or not those that follow the dragon's path usually have had contact, or inherit a trait from an ancestor that had dealings with a Draconic being in some way, shape, or form.

Draconic Embodiment

When you choose this path at 3rd level, you learn to speak, read, and write Draconic, and your body undergoes the following changes related to dragons.

  • The ability to see a small distance without sight granting a blindsight of 10ft.
  • Grow a limited number of natural weapons in the form of a throwable spike like horn from your body.
  • Your jaws become a natural weapon able to crush rocks and your body can consume inorganic matter for sustenance.
  • Your unarmed hands are considered light natural weapons and are able to change the attack form to deal bludgeoning by default, or piercing/slashing damage (Chosen before you roll).

These natural melee weapons utilize your Strength and benefit from your rage bonus, and at level 6 are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage. (These natural weapons cannot be used with monk class features)

Dragon's Ire

Starting at 3rd level, you can mentally mark a target that has dealt damage to you or your allies. You need to be able to see, smell, or hear the target to use this feature. You can have multiple marked targets at once lasting for 1 hour after combat ends. Once you have marked a target you gain the following features.

  • You have advantage on Perception and Survival checks to find a marked target.
  • Attacks with your natural weapons have a +1 to hit marked targets. This bonus increases as you gain experience in this class to 2 at 8th, 3 at 14th, 4 at 20th level.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Minor Magic Resilience

Beginning at 6th level, while you are raging your scales visibly flare in various colors reducing all acid, fire, cold, lightning, and poison damage by 3 after resistance.

In addition, your draconic scale's inherent magical resistance grants you the ability to gain advantage on one saving throw involving magic. You can use this once per long rest. (2x at level 12, 3x at level 17)

Untamed Rage

Beginning at 10th level, your rage cannot, and will not be contained. While raging if an enemy you have marked is flying or swimming you gain either a pair of wings or a tail respectively providing a flying or swimming speed equal to your walking speed. Also, your rage doesn't end while under the restrained or grappled condition unless you choose to.

In addition, when you roll for initiative and have 0 use's of Dragon's Ire you regain 1.

Your unarmed strikes and natural weapons ignore a targets resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. (This feature can not stack in way with other class abilities)

Vorpal - Natural Weapons

At 20th level, your draconic power further enhances your body to its peak granting your unarmed strikes and natural weapons a lesser vorpal ability. While raging your your unarmed strikes and natural weapons can either ignore a targets resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, or treat immunity to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage as if they have resistance instead.
