Base Class: Monk
Tea and Strategy (3rd level)
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Insight and Persuasion skills, reflecting your philosophical nature and understanding of others. Additionally, you can spend 10 minutes preparing and sharing a special tea ceremony. You and up to five creatures of your choice who partake in the ceremony gain temporary hit points equal to your Monk level. This ceremony can be performed once per long rest.
White Lotus Strike (3rd level)
Starting at 3rd level, your understanding of balance allows you to find the harmony between attack and defense. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on a target you hit:
Push the Flow: Until the start of your next turn, that target has disadvantage on any attack roll that isn't against you.
Calm the Storm: You gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt to the target.
White Lotus Gambit (6th level)
At 6th level, your philosophical insights allow you to read and react to you opponents' movements. As a reaction when you are targeted by an attack, you can spend 1 Ki point to impose disadvantage on that attack roll, representing your ability to foresee and counter your opponents' moves. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses after a long rest.
Garden of Peace (11th level)
By 11th level, you've learned to create a sanctuary of peace that mirrors the secret gardens of the White Lotus. As an action, you can spend 3 Ki points to create a 30-foot radius sphere centered on yourself. For 1 minute, this area becomes difficult terrain for your enemies, and allies within the sphere gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.
Master of the White Lotus (17th level)
Reaching the pinnacle of your training, you embody the White Lotus's ideal of using power only when necessary. Once per long rest, you can enter a state of profound understanding for 1 minute. During this time, you gain the following benefits:
Your attacks deal extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
You and allies within 30 feet of you gain resistance to damage from spells.
Once on each of your turns, you can spend 2 Ki points and cast the following spells without expending a spell slot or material components: Calm Emotions, Hold Person, or Sanctuary. You spellcasting ability for these spells is Wisdom.
When you cast a spell using this feature, you can spend 1 Ki point to make two unarmed attacks as a bonus action.
