Base Class: Warlock
An ancient and formidable being of legend, the Witch Ascended transcends mortal bounds, shrouded in the mists of antiquity. Motivated by a thirst for arcane power, ancient lore, meddling in mortal affairs add settling vendettas aeons old, their inscrutable nature veils them in mystery. As they bestow eldritch power upon chosen warlocks, they relinquish fragments of their mortal soul, growing distant from humanity while further ascending. Among their ilk are the Ladies Three of Barovia, Morgan le Fay of Arthurian legend, Circe of Ancient Greece, Jadis the White Witch of Charn, and the Yule Witch Lutzelfrau — figures whose whims shape history.

Borrowed Mind
Starting at 1st level, your patron bestows upon you the ability to borrow the minds and bodies of nearby creatures. Once per long rest, as an action, you can enter a trance-like state, appearing unconscious to others. While in this state, your consciousness leaves your body and enters the mind of a creature of Small or Medium size that is within 100 feet of you. You gain full control over the creature's actions and can perceive the world through its senses.
While borrowing the creature's body, your own is vulnerable. If your borrowed form is reduced to 0 hit points or your borrowed spirit ends for any reason, your consciousness returns to your body, and you suffer one level of exhaustion. You can maintain your borrowed spirit for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). When the duration ends, or when you choose to end the effect as a bonus action, your consciousness returns to your body.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Ethereal Intuition
At 6th level, you can use your reaction to gain advantage on an ability check or saving throw, once per short rest. This represents your knack for borrowing knowledge from unseen sources and your growing intuition. Additionally, you gain the ability to cast Detect Thoughts once per long rest without expending a spell slot.
Enigmatic Adaptation
Beginning at 10th level, your mastery of eldritch power allows you to cast Enhance Ability once per short rest without expending a spell slot. When you cast this spell, it only affects yourself, and you can choose two different ability scores to enhance, representing your ability to focus your thoughts and enhance your skills. Additionally, once per short rest, you can reroll a saving throw or ability check and use the new result, reflecting your ability to reconsider and change your approach based on your insights.
Cacophonous Laughter
At 14th level, your connection with your Ascended Witch patron grants you the ability to tap into a cacophonous laughter that echoes across dimensions. As an action, you unleash a burst of eerie cackling energy in a 30-foot radius centered on yourself.
All enemies within the radius must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC. On a failed save, they are deafened and frightened for 1 minute as they are overwhelmed by the unsettling laughter.
While frightened in this way, a creature must take the Dash action and move away from you by the safest available route on each of its turns unless there is nowhere to move. If the creature ends its turn in a location where it doesn't have line of sight to you, the creature can make a Wisdom saving throw. On a successful save, the effect ends for that creature. Additionally, whenever a creature affected by this ability starts its turn within the radius or enters the radius for the first time on its turn, it takes psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier as the maddening laughter continues to assault its senses.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
