Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Path of the Bruiser is a physical philosophy, as the barbarian focuses on strengthening their body as their preferred weapon.  In their rage, these barbarians gain the ability to attack multiple enemies with a single attack, even knocking down multiple enemies at a time.

Brutal Strikes

At level 3, your unarmed attacks do 1d4+STR damage.  Your unarmed strikes are counted as melee weapons for all rage abilities and barbarian class abilities such as Reckless Attack and Brutal Critical.  When making an unarmed attack while raging, you may select a number of targets within melee range equal to your proficiency bonus.  1d6 at level 10, 1d8 at level 17

Reaching Strike

At level 10, gain the reach property on your unarmed strikes.

Knockdown

Starting at level 6, while raging, once on your turn when you hit one or more targets using an unarmed strike, you may attempt to knock them prone.  You make a single Strength (Athletics) check contested by each target’s Strength (Athletics) check.  You succeed automatically if the target is incapacitated. If you succeed, you knock the target prone.

Finisher

At level 6, you do an additional 1d6 force damage to prone or incapacitated targets.  This increases to 2d6 at level 14 and 3d6 at level 17.

Raging Roar

At level 10, once per rage and as a bonus action, you may roar a battle cry as a bonus action to strike fear in your enemies.  In a 30ft cone.  Frighten saving throw is 8+STR+Proficiency bonus.   Those that fail their saving throw can roll once at the start of each of their turns.  On a failed saving throw, they receive the frightened condition.

Glutton for Pain

At level 14, while raging where you take damage from an enemy with a CR rating, you may use your reaction to gain temporary HP equal to that CR rating after applying the damage.
