Base Class: Druid
As a Circle of Locusts Druid, you have an affinity towards the darker side of nature. You are at home in locust swarms and plague-infested towns. You have likely suffered with such things throughout most of your life, or have at least taken interest in it, and as such it has become a large part of your druid identity. Your knowledge of how nature is created and spread can just as easily be used to determine how it can be eliminated and ceased.
Bonus Cantrip
When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you learn one additional druid cantrip of your choice. This cantrip doesn’t count against the number of druid cantrips you know.
Natural Rejuvenation
Starting at 2nd level, you can regain some of your magical energy by sitting in meditation and sharing and intermingling your strength with the strength of nature around you, continuing the cycle of life. During a short rest, you choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your druid level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
For example, when you are a 4th-level druid, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level slot or two 1st-level slots.
Circle Spells
Your mysterious connection to natures plagues infuses you with the ability to cast certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to your plague circle spells.
Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Aura Of Locusts
Starting at 6th level, a swarm of locusts follow you in your wake. The locusts are magical and are not visible to the naked eye, but make a buzzing sound that can be dimmed or amplified at your discretion. The locusts deal 1d8 damage to any attackers attempting to deal melee damage to you, and impose disadvantage on attempts to intimidate or persuade you.
Locust damage increases by 1d8 at 9th(2d8), 13th(3d8), 17th(4d8), and 20th level(5d8).
Decay Ward
When you reach 10th level, a ward forms within you, innately strengthening your powers of decay and decomposition. Non mushroom-familia plants and wildlife will begin to decay at a faster rate around you, but not beyond their natural order. Your mere presence speeds the process of life and gives food to the decomposers. This ward also provides you with immunity to the effects of posion, acid, and decay.
Between Life And Death
When you reach 14th level, your innate understanding of life and death in nature becomes a physical embodiment. You gain the ability to kill and resurrect nonmagical nonsentient plants on a whim. You can also resurrect magical sentient plant life that is lower level than yourself once per long rest if it consents to being brought back to life.
