Bard
Base Class: Bard

A student of the College of Slapstick has dedicated their life to find the humor in all things. Tragedy and Comedy are a thin line, and a true student of this college knows how to tiptoe around that knife's edge to find the truth.

Expert Heckler

3rd Level College of Slapstick feature

You know when to best insult your enemies. You learn the Vicious Mockery cantrip, which doesn't count against the number of Bard cantrips you know, and you can cast Vicious Mockery as a bonus action. You can do so a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Miraculous Mistake

3rd Level College of Slapstick feature

You are not afraid of making a fool of yourself, and you know how to turn a bad situation into an entertaining one, at least.

When you make an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, and the roll on the d20 is 5 or less, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration - roll your Bardic Inspiration die, add your Charisma modifier, and add the total to the result of the d20 roll.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Klutzy Combat

6th Level College of Slapstick Feature

You have combined your slapstick comedy with your combat, creating openings in the mistakes of you and your enemy.

When you miss with any weapon attack against a creature within 5 ft. of you, or a creature within 5 ft. misses an attack against you, that creature takes bludgeoning damage equal to your Charisma modifier.

Pratfall

6th Level College of Slapstick feature

You have fallen and picked yourself back up so many times that it's considered unnatural by some - now you have studied and know how to roll with the punches.

After you move on your turn, you can move an additional number of feet equal to your movement speed, then have the Prone condition. Once you do so, you cannot do so again until you use 0 ft. movement on your turn.

Falling Up

14th Level College of Slapstick feature

You have learned that in order to succeed, you must fail miserably - you have found the joke and joy in everything, and this profound discovery has led you to creating opportunities out of devastating losses.

When you roll a 1 on the d20 for an ability check, you instead treat it as if you rolled a 20 instead.
