Base Class: Monk
The change of the seasons motivates plants to grow, animals to bring new life, and life to change for the entire world. Monks who follow the Way of the Shifting Winds use the changing seasons as inspiration for their martial arts, taking tenets from what can be learned from each season. These monks utilize the power of martial stances in their fighting, shifting to best fit the needs of the situation.
The tenets directly correlate to the four seasons. The Tenet of Spring these monks to keep their faith strong within themselves, that good will overcome evil, life over death. They must trust in themselves, in their allies, and in the will of the wind to protect the lives of the pure. The Tenet of Summer teaches them to be strong through all, that no matter how hard the world fights against them, they must hit back twice as hard to ensure balance is kept. Their power must be unbroken and powerful enough to break past all enemy lines, pushing far past the limits of mortal flesh. The Tenet of Autumn teaches that you must have harmony between one's mind and body, and furthermore, their body with the world. As the wind sails smoothly through trees and waves, the energy of the body must flow smoothly to harmonize with the world around them. The Tenet of Winter teaches one that their will must be unchallenged, unbroken, and grounded. Just as the world freezes in winter, one's will must freeze and be perfectly perseverant and unshaking.
