Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The Cinderheart Sorcerers are born from the crucible of fire, their very essence intertwined with the blazing infernos that consume forests, forge weapons, and light the darkest nights. These spellcasters channel the raw power of flames, whether through innate affinity or pacts forged with fire elementals. Their magic dances with flickering tongues, leaving enemies scorched and allies warmed by their presence.

Fire Affinity

Your connection to flames allows you to manipulate fire more effectively. At first level, when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can reroll any 1s on the damage dice. You must use the new result.

Ignition Spark

As a reaction when you take fire damage, you can absorb some of the flames. Roll a d6 and regain hit points equal to the result + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.

Flame Arcs

Starting at 6th level, when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, flames leap from your target to nearby foes. Choose up to three creatures within 10 feet of the original target. Each chosen creature takes fire damage equal to half the damage dealt to the initial target. This effect occurs immediately after you cast the spell.

Flashing Sprint

At 14th level, your affinity for fire reaches its peak. As a bonus action, you can step into a nearby flame (such as a campfire or torch). You instantly teleport to another flame within 60 feet. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Every creature within 5 feet of your destination takes 2d6 fire damage and needs to make a constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of your next turn.

Eternal Blaze

Upon reaching 18th level, your connection to fire transcends mortality. When you would be reduced to 0 hit points due to fire damage, you instead remain at 1 hit point. Additionally, you regain hit points equal to half the amount of fire damage you do (rounded down) whenever you deal fire damage with a spell, once per turn.
