Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Clerics, who are connected with Nova, The Eternal are a bit different than other clerics. Most of them are Astral Elves, since they have a special bond with the goddess as her folk. But there are some rare examples, when a human or other creature made a promise to Nova, or somehow connected their fate with hers. However, it's really uncommon, since Nova usually doesen't communicate with other creatures than gods and her own Astral Elves.

Astral Elves all have a magical, eternal connection with Nova and they all get divine power from the bond. Without their goddess, they wouldn't be able to use magic at all. There are Astral Elves, called the Starless Ones, who were once part of the folk of Nova, but they traveled too far away and turned their back on the goddess. They got to keep their powers, but it works in a slightly different way. They are variants of Starlight Domain Clerics and the Starlight Domain Cleric subclass does not contain the features of the Straless Ones.

Bonus Spell

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you automatically gain the Charm person spell if you don't already know it. This spell doesen't count against the number of cleric spells you know.

Channel Divinity: Starlight Form

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to alter your form as an action and turn into pure starlight. Only the shape of your body will remain and you will glow with ethereal light. Every creature that tries to attack you will have disadvantage on it's attack roll since they can't detect exactly where you are. Creatures who can't be blinded are not affected by this feature. Additionally, any magical darkness within 30 feet of you is dispelled. You can stay in this form for 1 minute, or until you lose your concentration.

Enchanted Eyes

You attempt to charm a humanoid creature that is directly looking into your eyes and is within 20 feet. Your eyes will start to glow with Nova's ethereal power and the creature will have to make a wisdom saving throw. Because of your otherwordly beauty and the starry glow in your eyes, it will have disadvantage, if you and your companions are not fighting it. If you are, the creature will roll with advantage. If the creature fails, it will be charmed by you for an hour or until you - and only you - do anything harmful to it. It will regard you as a friendly acquaintance. While the creature is charmed, you can decide to roll a persuasion check and if you succeed, you can ask one little favour, for example to untie you or to bring you a specific object. You can't ask it to do anything harmful to others or itself. You can only ask for one favour. When the one hour goes off, the victim won't know that it was charmed by you. Creatures who can't be charmed can not be affected by this feature. You can use the Enchanted Eyes feature again after a long rest.

Ethereal Dance

As a member of the people of the ancient goddess Nova, you learned to enchant people with your charming, otherwordly dance. You start a beautiful dance step and while dancing, you can pick one humanoid creature (that is within 30 feet) to concentrate on and try to seduce. It will have to make a wisdom saving throw. If it succeeds, it will stay unconcerned, but if it fails, it will slowly fall for you and after you finish the dance, it will follow you anywhere you go, unless you ask otherwise. This effect lasts for two days and in these two days, the victim will forget about it's past self, the people he or she knew before and will almost do anything you ask. After two days, the effect ends, and the creature won't remember anything that happened. You can't ask the creature to harm itself and a creature that can't be charmed can not be affected by this feature. No matter if the victim succeeded or failed it's saving throw, after you finish your dance, you won't be able to do it again for 7 days and you can never use this feature in combat.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 6th level, you add your Charisma modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.
