Bard
Base Class: Bard

Animals have a fascinating reaction to sounds and music. It is often said that birds like music and the melodies they sing only prove further their affinity for the sound based artform. While it as been disproven that music charms snakes and that's its rather the flutist's swaying that incites the snakes, it's still the performance in itself that intices the reptiles in their pots. Bards of the college of beast charming saw this connection animals have with music and pushed it to the extreme by infusing their performance with a bit of magic to make animals who hear them into loyal allies.

Bonus proficiency

When you take this subclass at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Animal handling if you do not already have it. You also double your proficiency bonus for it.

Animal Charming

During a long rest, you can mark a beast that is friendly to you that can hear or see you and that has a CR rating equal to or lower than half your bard level rounded up. If there aren't any, you can perform an animal caling melody. When the melody ends, a beast with a CR rating equal to or lower than half your bard level rounded up and that isn't hostile to you will approach you (The beast is chosen at random from among the beasts with the highest possible CR rating in the area your level allows). It is now friendly to you and can understand your speach. It obeys directly your commands unless they are directly harmful to itself, but it will still fight on your behalf. While a beast is marked as your animal companion, it is immune to the charmed condition from anyone and anything other than you. During combat, you can issue commands to your animal companion by using your bonus action and using it's reaction. These commands can be to use the attack action, help action or any other action that the beast has in it's stat block. If no commands are received, the beast will defend itself to the best of it's abilities or use the dodge action. You can only have one creature marked as your animal companion at a time. During a long rest, you can sever the bond with your animal companion. It stays friendly to you but can no longer understand you and will desire to go back living into the wilderness.

Animal Tongue

You learn The 'Speak with animals' spell. It doesn't count towards the number of spells you already know. Also, you can cast 'speak with animals' at will without expanding a spell slot. The clarity of your dialect with your animal companion naturally increased. Now, your animal companion can obey your command either by expanding it's reaction or it's bonus action.

Inspired charge

The bond with your animal companion as reached it's peak, allowing it to benefit greatly from you inspiring it.

Upon receiving a bardic inspiration die, your animal companion can move up to it's movement speed + twice the roll of your bardic inspiration die (It is not expended) and then get's an aditionnal action to use the attack action directly at the end of it's movement caused by this feature. All attacks made with this aditionnal action are made with advantage. Also, as long as your animal companion as a bardic inspiration die, it's attacks count as magical for overcoming resistances
