Base Class: Fighter
Many knights have dreamed of being paladins, but have never had the talent for manipulating divine magics, or were not devoted enough to a cause beyond themselves to be granted it. So instead, they look for power elsewhere, by tapping into the Weave or the natural energies of nature.
Aura Knights spend years of their lives meditating to absorb some kind of external energy to claim as their own, condensing it into a usable mote within themselves. These motes of magical energy circle the knight's heart, ready to be sent to wherever the knight needs it most, granting them superhuman abilities or enhancing objects with power.
Aura Application
3rd-level Aura Knight feature
You can infuse your aura to enhance your gear. You can apply some of your aura to non-magical weapons and armor in order to temporarily make them stronger and able to bypass various magical defenses (when infused, the weapons and armor are considered magical).

You can use a bonus action to apply an amount of your aura to improve your non-magical weapons or armor. Using aura to improve your armor increases your Armor Class by 1 per mote of Aura you use, up to a maximum of 3. Using aura to improve your weapons increases the damage and to hit modifier by 1 per mote of Aura you use, up to a maximum of 3. Improvements made on weapons and armor last for up to a minute, until you dispel them or until you fall unconscious.
Completing a Short Rest restores half of your maximum availible motes.
All motes of Aura replenish after taking a long rest.
Aura Strengthening
3rd-level Aura Knight feature
Users of Aura are able to channel the natural energies into their muscles when they need it the most, allowing them to accomplish feats that most wouldn't.
You can spend a mote of Aura to give yourself advantage on Athletics or Acrobatics checks for the next minute.
Aura Sense
3rd-level Aura Knight feature
You have learned how to sense the flow of magical energies. By circulating Aura through various senses, you are able to produce the effects of the Detect Magic spell.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
Aura Steps
7th-level Aura Knight feature
Aura knights can subvert the laws of physics by applying aura to their feet, allowing them to walk on vertical surfaces as easily as walking on the ground. By expending a mote of Aura, a creature can gain a climbing speed equal to their walking speed. This trait improves at levels 10 and 15, allowing them to walk on water and gain a flying speed equal to their walking speed, though doing so consumes more Aura. The effect lasts for one hour.

Aura Cannon
10th-level Aura Knight feature
You are able to condense and expel your aura in a 15 ft. line or a cone, dealing 4d10+Str force damage. To do so, you must use an action to spend at least 2 motes of aura, each use of aura more than this increases the damage by 2d10. Creatures hit by this attack must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC=8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier), taking half damage on a successful save.
The size of the cone/line increases to 30 ft. at level 15, and to 45 ft. at level 18.
Aura Master
15th-level Aura Knight feature
By expending 1 mote of aura, you are able to apply aura to improvised weapons, becoming proficient in that weapon. The DM decides on the damage die of the weapon. Improvised weapons can be upgraded with aura. Applying the effects of Aura Master requires an action, however it can be used as part of an attack. These effects lasts until dispelled, or up to a minute.
Additionally, through the practice of manipulating your aura, you can use a bonus action to imbue a nonmagical melee weapon, that you are proficient with, with 3 motes of Aura for the 1 minute. When you do so, the weapon begins to hover, flies up to 30 feet, and attacks one creature of your choice within 5 feet of it. The weapon uses your attack roll and ability score modifier to damage rolls. Whilst the weapon is floating, you are concentrating, losing concentration relinquishes the weapons ability to float.
While the weapon hovers, you can use a bonus action to cause it to fly up to 30 feet to another spot within 30 feet of you. As part of the same bonus action, you can cause the weapon to attack one creature within 5 feet of it.
The flying and improvised weapons can benefit from the effects of Aura Application.
Aura Surge
18th-level Aura Knight feature
Having trained your Aura and your sword techniques to the peak of their ability, you have unlocked capabilities unattainable to most. By using your action to expend 3 motes of Aura throughout your entire body, you can momentarily move at super human speeds, without taking opportunity attacks, to up to six creatures of your choice that you can see within 30 ft.. Make a melee attack against each target. On a hit, a target takes 6d10, force damage.
You end your series of attacks at an unoccupied space you can see within 5 feet of one of the targets you hit or missed.
In addition, when you roll initiative and have no motes of Aura remaining, you replenish 5 motes of Aura.
