Base Class: Barbarian
When Barbarians of Vitality enter the fight, they bring true resilience with them. By raw strength and will power, they rise against the odds to survive battles that should be impossible. Even being able to channel their anger into outright negligence of their own well being, they still rise above the enemy out of pure primal essence and survival instincts.
Renewal
Starting at 3rd level, when you enter rage, you gain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier. When your rage ends, you regain hit points equal to the same amount. Additionally, as a bonus action during your rage, you can expend 1 hit die.
Thirst
Starting at 6th level, when you enter rage, you can also choose to enter Thirst. If you choose to enter Thirst, you no longer have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage. While in Thirst, whenever you deal damage with a melee weapon attack, you can choose to heal yourself equal to half the damage dealt rounded down. Additionally, all enemy attack rolls against you have advantage. You can only enter Thirst when you enter rage, but cannot end Thirst until you end rage.
Improved Renewal
Starting at 10th level, when you enter rage, you gain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. When your rage ends, you regain hit points equal to the same amount. Additionally, as a bonus action during your rage, you can expend up to 2 hit die during your rage.
Conditioned
Starting when you reach 10th level, whenever you use a hit die to regain hit points during a rest, you can roll each die twice and take the higher result. Additionally, after gaining a level and rolling for a hit point upgrade, you may reroll the hit die and must take the new roll if the result was 5 or lower.
Unyielding Vitality
Starting at 14th level, as a reaction when you would be knocked unconscious due to reaching 0 hit points, you can choose to expend 3 hit dice and take 3 levels of exhaustion. If you do, you remain conscious with 1 hit point instead. You can also take a free action to Disengage and Dash immediately after. Additionally, if you are dying and have 2 failed death saves, you have advantage on all death saving throws.
