Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

The Hexweaver domain focuses on the banes and boons of curses, the powers that primarily shackle others down to the ground, and dampen their abilities. Gods of curses include Persephone and Fuku, being patron deities to those who've studied in the arts of curses. Similarly to the Death Domain, the gods of the Hexweaver Domain embody murder (Anubis, Bhaal, and Pyremius), pain (Iuz or Loviatar), disease or poison (Incabulos, Talona, or Morgion), and imprisonment (Nungal and Tartarus).

Hexweaver Domain Spells

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons.

Gift of the Hexweaver

Also starting at 1st level, your curses are more effective. Whenever a friendly creature makes an attack against a creature cursed by a spell, such as hex or bestow curse, or by a class feature such as Hexblade's Curse, the attack roll is a critical hit on the roll of a 19 or 20 on the d20.

Channel Divinity: Hexweaver's Stigma

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to curse your enemies.

As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity, choosing four creatures you can see within 90 feet of you. The targets are branded with a stigma of either a patron devil or deity of your followings, resulting in being cursed for 1 minute. The curse ends early if the targets die, you die, or you are incapacitated. If a cursed target dies before the curse ends, you and the friendly creature who killed a cursed target regain hit points equal to your cleric level + twice your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1 hit point).

Curse Expertise

Beginning at 6th level, the power of your curses also affects you. Whenever you make an attack against a creature cursed by a spell, such as hex or bestow curse, or by a class feature such as Hexblade's Curse, the attack roll is a critical hit on the roll of a 18-20 on the d20.

Baleful Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon and magic strikes with cursed energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon or spell attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 force damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Greater Cursing

Starting at 17th level, when you would normally choose one or more targets to curse someone with a spell or class feature, such as Hexblade's Curse or bestow curse, you can choose an additional number of targets equal to your Wisdom modifier.
