Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Tactics Of The Fallen:

Starting at 3rd level, you can draw on the experience of past Dreadguards in battle. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to choose one of the following effects:

Shieldbearer's Stance: Reduce the damage by 1d10 + your fighter level and reflect the reduced damage back to the attacker.

Berserker's Fury: Make a melee attack as a reaction against the attacker.

Archer's Evasion: Move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

You can use these features equal to your STR modifier + proficiency bonus per long rest.

Advanced Dreadguard Tactics:

At 7th level, your Tactics of the Fallen evolve, granting additional benefits:

Ironclad Defense (Shieldbearer's Stance): Gain temporary hit points equal to the damage reduced.

Sentinel's Reach (Berserker's Fury): Increase your melee attack reach by 5 feet until the end of your next turn.

Tactician's Riposte (Archer's Evasion): Gain advantage on your next attack roll before the end of your next turn.

Spectral Resonance:

Beginning at 10th level, your bond with Dreadguard spirits deepens. You can select up to two Tactics Of The Fallen features at a time.

Additionally, you gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.

Dreadful Insights:

At 15th level, your understanding of Dreadguard tactics allows you to more effectively thwart your enemies. When a creature that you can see within 60ft of you triggers your Tactics Of The Fallen, a Dreadguard spirit latches on to that creature, imposing disadvantage on their next attack roll or saving throw.

Dreaded Reflexes:

Reaching 18th level, your mastery over Dreadguard Tactics grants you exceptional reflexes. You now have two reactions per turn.
