Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Death is a concept so fundamental, so profoundly inevitable in nature, that even gods are not immune to its embrace. And some of them should have feared it more than they did. The followers of a fallen deity do not merely cease to believe; in some, their devotion is so unwavering that a fragment of divinity persists within them. The devout of the fallen are consumed by fury and disdain toward whatever force led to their deity's demise, be it mortal or divine. The flames of vengeance burn deep within the soul of a fallen cleric, an unyielding blaze that cannot be extinguished. For should it falter, the last bastion of divinity risks succumbing to oblivion, much like the fate that befalls all that is mortal.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor and martial weapons.

Unwavering Fury

At 1st level, your devotion makes your will almost completely indomitable. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.

Additionally, when a creature you can see within 30 feet of you makes a saving throw against one of these conditions, you can add your wisdom modifier to that roll as a reaction. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Channel Divinity: Avatar of Retribution

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to bring retribution to your enemies.

As an action you choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you, focusing your divine wrath on it. For the next minute, whenever the chosen creature deals damage to you, it takes half of the dealt damage in the form of radiant damage. If the target drops to 0 hp due to this effect, their body will turn into ash, dropping whatever they were holding and wearing.

Burning Soul

Starting at 6th level, the fire inside you becomes more than just a metaphor, burning your enemies as they try to fell you.

You become resistant to fire damage.

Additionally, once per turn, a creature that hits you with an attack takes fire damage equal to your cleric level.

Divine Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with the fiery power of the forge. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 fire damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Divine Immolation

At 17th level, your divine wrath becomes even more devastating for your enemies.

While your Channel Divinity is active you have resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. The chosen creature takes all of the damage it deals to you as radiant and finally, if the chosen creature dies before the end of the ability's duration, you can use an action to transfer your wrath to another creature within 30 feet of you that you can see.
