Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Some wizards learn by studying. Most, in fact, spend much of their early lives with their noses buried deep in books on arcane theory and lore, painstakingly absorbing the knowledge needed to practice the arcane arts. You, however, learn best by doing, and in particular, by studying, copying, mirroring the spellcasting techniques used by others. Whether by a quirk of personality, affinity, or photographic indelible memory, you have a knack for copying spells. So much that you can even do it in a split second.

It's quite simple, really. All you need to do is take the magical essence of an item, a creature, an object, and simply divide it by the arcane coefficient of the ley...

Duplicate Object

As an action, a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus, or by consuming a level 1 or higher spell slot, you may create a copy of a non-magic object you can see within 120 feet that is worth less than 100g and that weighs less than one ton. You may create the copy of that object at any location of your choice within 120 feet that you can see.

Duplicate Spell

As an action, bonus action, or reaction, you may instantly copy any spell that you can see being cast within 120 feet. If you are capable of casting a spell of that level, you instantly cast the spell. If you are not capable of casting a spell of that level, make a spellcasting ability check. If the result is equal to or greater than ten plus the spell's level, you instantly cast it. Otherwise, the attempt fizzles.

If you successfully duplicate a Sorcerer or Wizard spell, you also permanently learn it and may cast it as a prepared spell using a spell slot of the appropriate level. If you successfully duplicate a spell that is not a Sorcerer or Wizard spell, you temporarily learn it and may cast it using a spell slot of the appropriate level until the end of your next long rest.

Duplicate Double

Beginning at 6th level, as a bonus action, you may create a temporary duplicate of yourself that shares your game statistics, and uses your resources, except that it has hit points equal to your Wizard level, and temporary hit points equal to half your maximum health. Your duplicate double may move and take an action during your turn, has one reaction only, and does not have a bonus action. Any action taken by your duplicate double consume resources such as spell slots, item charges, or ability cooldowns as if you had taken that action. This also counts for consumable items, such as spell scrolls. (For example, you may cast Magic Missile consuming a first level spell slot on your turn. Then, you may have your duplicate double do so as well. However, both will consume your spell slots.)

Duplicate Magical Item (Uncommon)

Beginning at 6th level, once per long rest, you may attempt to duplicate a magical item of uncommon rarity or below. Make a spellcasting ability check. On a 15 or higher, the item is permanently duplicated, otherwise it vanishes when you finish a long rest. (When you duplicate a consumable item, you instead always create 1d6 permanent duplicates.)

Duplicate Creature

Beginning at 10th level, once per long rest, as an action, you may attempt to create a duplicate of a creature you can see within 120 feet other than yourself. Using this ability dispels your Duplicate Double, and vice versa. If the creature is equal to or less than your level or challenge rating, you create a perfect copy of that creature under your control, except that it has hit points equal to your Wizard level, and temporary hit points equal to half of the original creature's maximum health. The duplicated creature lasts for one minute if summoned during combat as an action, or one hour if summoned out of combat as a 1-minute ritual. If the creature is greater than your level or challenge rating, at the DM's discretion, it may have weaker abilities, statistics, or both.

Duplicate Magical Item (Rare)

Beginning at 10th level, you always permanently duplicate common or uncommon items, and may now duplicate rare magical items. On a 20 or higher, the item is permanently duplicated, otherwise it vanishes when you finish a long rest. (When you duplicate a consumable item, you instead always create 1d8 permanent duplicates.)

Mass Duplication

Beginning at level 14, once per long rest, as an action, you may create a large number of temporary duplicates of one non-magical object (per Duplicate Object), yourself (per Duplicate Double), or creature (per Duplicate Creature) equal to or less than your challenge rating or level. Roll a number of d6s equal to your proficiency bonus. For 30 seconds, that many duplicates appear under your control in a location of your choosing. If applicable, the duplicates take their turn together, and each has both hit points and temporary hit points equal to your Wizard level.

Duplicate Magical Item (Very Rare)

Beginning at 14th level, you always permanently duplicate rare items, and may now duplicate very rare magical items. On a 25 or higher, the item is permanently duplicated, otherwise it vanishes when you finish a long rest. (When you duplicate a consumable item, you instead always create 1d10 permanent duplicates.)
