Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Sometimes the spark of magic that fuels a sorcerer comes from an infernal source that glows within the soul. Having such a cursed soul is a sign that your innate magic might come from a distant but powerful familial connection to a devil. Perhaps your ancestor was a devil, sent to the Material Plane to fight in Asmodeus' name. Or your birth might align with an ancient prophecy, marking you as a servant of Hell or a chosen vessel of infernal magic. Perhaps you are simply a Tiefling who is cursed to have a closer connection to the infernal than most, or someone whose Tiefling ancestry was previously unknown.

Though it was originally designed for Tieflings, a member of any race can claim an Infernal Bloodline through an ancient pact, a prophecy, or a distant ancestor whose influence has been enough to connect you to the Weave but not to change your physiology.

Infernal Magic

At 1st level, your link to the Nine Hells allows you to learn spells a Sorcerer can't usually learn, listed below. When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn or replace a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from this spell list or the sorcerer spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a sorcerer spell for you.

In addition, choose a first-level spell from the following list. It is a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. If you later replace this spell, you must replace it with a spell from this list.

Bane

You learn the bane spell, but it doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. If you later replace this spell, you must replace it with a spell from the Infernal Magic spell list.

Command

You learn the command spell, but it doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. If you later replace this spell, you must replace it with a spell from the Infernal Magic spell list.

Hellish Rebuke

You learn the hellish rebuke spell, but it doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. If you later replace this spell, you must replace it with a spell from the Infernal Magic spell list.

Inflict Wounds

You learn the inflict wounds spell, but it doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. If you later replace this spell, you must replace it with a spell from the Infernal Magic spell list.

Unseen Servant

You learn the unseen servant spell, but it doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. If you later replace this spell, you must replace it with a spell from the Infernal Magic spell list.

Summon Hellfire

At 1st level, you learn the fire bolt and produce flame cantrips. They count as sorcerer cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.

Empowered Infernal Magic

Starting at 6th level, the infernal energy coursing through you empowers your existing magic. Whenever you roll fire damage dice, add your Charisma modifier to the roll.

Additionally, you gain a Devil's Sight. You can see normally in dim light and darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 feet.

Wings of a Devil

Starting at 14th level, you can use a bonus action to manifest a pair of bat-like wings from your back. While the wings are present, you have a flying speed of 30 feet. The wings last until you’re incapacitated, you die, or you dismiss them as a bonus action.

Bat out of Hell

Starting at 18th level, you gain immunity to fire damage, resistance to cold damage, and resistance to poison damage. Additionally, the flying speed conferred by your Otherworldly Wings increases to 60 feet.
You also gain a devil's Magic Resistance. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
