Path of the WildGate Student

WildGate Academy is dedicated to the training of Barbarians and how they can control and improve there rage, The Grandmistress one of the Almighty 12 made this academy and even teaches some of the classes personally, also supervising the Graduating classes who delve into the depths of the abyss to prove themselves.

The Path that these students tread on is of control, understanding and elegance the three things you would never expect a barbarian to have.  

War Ready

Add your Intelligence Modifier to your Initiative. 

Intelligent enough to know when a fights about to break out, and smart enough to attack before they attack.

Student of War

At 3rd level, when you study this path, you gain one of three skills taught in WildGate to its beginner students.

A dedication is the baseline for graduating WildGate and while only getting one, most students acquire 2 dedications by the time they graduate.

(1 Dedication at level 3, and another at level 7)

Dedication to Athletics

Hone your body and train it to be its best, a common favourite amongst new students. Gain an extra 5ft of movement speed permanently and Expertise in Athletics.

Dedication to Knowledge

You learn and study specific skills, History and investigation now have expertise. You also gain +1 to your Intelligence.

Dedication to Rage

you dedicate yourself to controlling your rage. you may add your intelligence modifier to damage rolls while raging.

With practice and persistence one can hone there rage and inflict greater wounds via precise weapon placements.

Calm Rage

When you enter a Rage you focus that energy into a dangerous calm, that if unsettled will harm those around you. if a creature attacks and hits you when you are within 10ft of it they must make a Wisdom DC {{savedc:int}} saving throw or become frightened until the end of your next turn, you may use this ability once per rage.

Decisive Defense

Learning how to defend oneself with grace you gain the benefit of adding your intelligence modifier to your AC.

WildGate Graduate

At 14th level, you gain both a badge to commend your achievement in the Academy and the ability to apply your intelligence Modifier to any skill check you make 3 times per short rest.
