Base Class: Warlock
You awakened one day, with a nagging presence in your mind. An almost mindless hunger, echoing in your brain, as a single command was issued to you. “Feed…”
Great Ooze Warlocks serve their endlessly starving masters, bringing food and power to them through consuming others. Ooze Warlocks, while mostly maintaining their form and/or appearance, have transformed into creatures made of slime, endlessly starving for mortal flesh. This transformation brings great benefits, at the cost of the creature’s humanity. Great Oozes can range in a variety of forms, but the most common Great Oozes are the Demon Lord Juiblex, the Slime Queen Voracious, and the Ravenous.
Expanded Spell List
Your pact allows you to add the following spells to your spell list.
1st Level: Absorb Elements, Grease
2nd Level: Alter Self, Enlarge/Reduce
3rd Level: Stinking Cloud, Wall of Water
4th Level: Evard’s Black Tentacles, Control Water
5th Level: Cloudkill, Maelstrom
Gift of the Ooze
You can now squeeze into crevices no less than one inch wide, and gain resistance to acid and poison damage. You also gain a Tendril attack, which uses your Charisma modifier to hit. You are proficient in your Tendril strikes, and they do 1d6+ Your Charisma modifier, as well as an additional 1d6 acid damage. Additionally, while you are not wearing armor, your AC becomes 10 plus your Dexterity and Constitution modifier.
Instead of dealing damage with your Tendril strike, you can choose to grapple the target instead. You can use your Tendril attack modifier for checks to maintain the grapple.
Hunger of the Ooze
At 6th level, your hunger knows no bounds. At the start of your turn, you deal 1d6 acid damage to a creature you are grappling. If this damage kills the target, you digest the creature. Once a creature has been digested, you gain temporary hit points equivalent to your Warlock level. The temporary hit points last until you take a short or long rest. In addition, if the target was a sentient creature, you gain some insight into the creature’s mind. You learn the creature's name, alignment, and creature type, as well as all the memories they experienced within the past 24 hours. This acid damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level, and to 4d6 at 14th level.
Hunger Incarnate
At 10th level, after devouring a corpse using your Hunger of the Ooze feature, you gain advantage on attack rolls and Constitution saves for 1 minute. Additionally, the temporary hit points gained from digesting a creature is doubled.
True Transformation
At 14th level, your body has been further transformed into the image of your patron. You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, as well as immunity to acid damage. In addition, you can now grapple and consume Huge creatures. After digesting a creature, you gain advantage on all savings throws for one minute after consuming a creature, and your spells and Tendril attack deal extra damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
