Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

These barbarians exert control over gravity in order to enhance themselves in battle. Able to drag foes towards them and to shatter the earth, there is no running away from them. The most adept of this path receive the honorific name “starscourge”, as they are said to possess the power to hold back the stars.

Gravity Magic

Some of your class features require your targets to make a saving throw to resist the feature's effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows:

Gravity save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier

Airborne creatures make saving throws against your Gravity save DC with disadvantage.

Gravitational Pull

Starting at 3rd level, while you are raging, you can summon a wave of gravity that attract foes to you. As a bonus action while raging, choose a creature within 20 feet of you. They must succeed on a Strength saving throw equal to your Gravity Save DC or be pulled 10 feet in a straight line towards you.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier, and you regain all spent uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Earthward Reinforcement

Starting at 6th level, you can rip apart the earth to empower yourself. When you enter your rage, choose one of the following effects, which lasts until your rage ends.

  • Rock Sling. A formation of floating rocks hovers above you. As an action on each of your turns you can hurl a boulder at your foes. A boulder is treated as a simple weapon with the thrown property and a normal range of 60 feet and no long range, and is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. It deals 1d12 bludgeoning damage on a hit and uses your Strength modifier for the attack and damage rolls. This damage increases to 2d12 at 10th level and to 3d12 at 14th level. If you are able to make extra attacks as a part of a class feature, this action can replace one of those attacks.
  • Meteorite Armor. Rocks cover your body, protecting it. You get a +2 bonus to your AC. This bonus increases to +3 at 10th level and +4 at 14th level.
  • Cragblade. You coat your weapons with boulders. To use this effect, the weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property. Your weapon becomes magical and on a hit, it deals an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage. The damage increases to 2d4 at 10th level and to 3d4 at 14th level.

Gravity Wave

At 10th level, your Gravitational Pull becomes stronger, affecting each creature in your vicinity. When you use your Gravitational pull, instead of targeting one creature, you can attempt to pull each creature within a 30-foot radius of yourself. Each creature that fails the save is pulled 15 feet in a straight line toward you and knocked prone.

Meteor Fall

Also at 14th level, you can descend from the heavens to devastate your enemies. As an action, you can hurl yourself into the air before intensifying gravity and slamming into the ground. When you do, each creature in a 15-foot radius, 60-foot high cylinder centered on yourself must make a Strength saving throw against your Gravity Save DC. A creature that fails this save takes 4d12 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone, and a creature that succeeds takes half damage and is not knocked prone. If you fall 100 feet or more before hitting the ground this way, the radius of the cylinder is 150ft and the damage is 8d12 instead.

After using this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
