Dragons are often intelligent beings of immense and ancient power. Some dragons choose to invest portions of their powers into mortals through bargains and pacts, making warlocks to do their bidding.

Draconic Blast

Also at level 1, you can harness the power of your Draconic patron through your warlock blasts. Whenever you cast the Eldritch Blast cantrip, you can change the damage type from force to whatever elemental damage type you chose from the Draconic Patron feature. If you change Eldritch Blast’s damage type, you can also change the damage of the spell from 1d10 to 2d6.

Draconic Fear

When you reach level 6, you’re able to instill fear in those you hit with your Draconic Blast. When you hit a creature with Eldritch Blast while using your patron’s damage type, you can expend a Warlock spell slot to force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell save DC. If they succeed, they take an additional 2d4 psychic damage, and are immune to this feature for 24 hours. If they fail, they are frightened of you for an amount of rounds equal to the level the spell slot you used was.

Dragon’s Flight

Starting at 10th level, whenever you expend a spell slot to cast a spell that deals your patron’s elemental damage, you sprout leathery dragon’s wings from your back, and you gain a flight speed equal to your walking speed. This flight speed lasts for 1d6 rounds.

Elemental Breath

When you reach 14th level in this class, you can use your action to exhale elemental breath on your enemies in a 40 ft cone. All creatures in that cone must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, dealing half damage on a successful save and full damage on a failed save. It deals 3d8 damage, and the type is the same damage type as your patron’s elemental damage type. You can use this breath weapon an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses after a short or long rest.
