Base Class: Bard
The College of Contracts harnesses the formidable powers of the hells, flipping the script on devilish contracts and laws meant for oppression. Instead, these bards use their mastery to empower and safeguard their allies, turning the very tools of coercion into instruments of strength. By striking deals with angels and devils alike, they become adept negotiators between the planes, deftly bending words and wit to align the forces of heavens and hells with their own ambitions and goals. With a touch of infernal charm and celestial savvy, these bards navigate the intricate web of cosmic agreements, ensuring that every pact serves their purpose and advances their agenda.
Diabolic Diplomacy
3rd-level College of Contracts feature
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the languages Celestial, Infernal, and Abyssal, if you do not have them already. Additionally, Fiends and Celestials have disadvantage on charisma and insight checks against you.
Charming Covenant
3rd-level College of Contracts feature
At 3rd level, You’ve harnessed the powers of the hells to weave a devilish contract. When you give an ally bardic inspiration, as long as the target ally is willing, you can weave a Covenant upon them. This Covenant gives the inspired character an objective to complete within a fixed timeframe, upon completion they receive a reward, however failing to complete the covenant could lead to disaster!
Covenants can only be weaved on an ally in combat, additionally, an Ally can only ever receive the reward from 1 covenant at a time.
For Ease of Reading, an ally who has had a covenant weaved upon them will be referred to as a Client
When you weave a contract on a target, choose from the following options:

Deathdealer
- Objective: Choose a target more than 30’ away from the Client. The Client must get the killing blow on the target with 3 rounds of combat.
- Reward: The Client gains temporary hit points equal to your level + Charisma modifier.
- Punishment: The Client takes 2D6 Psychic Damage.

Healer's Vow
- Objective: Choose a target currently making death-saving throws. The Client must heal or stabilize the target before they recover from other means or die.
- Reward: The Client gains +2 to their constitution until the next long rest, additionally they can receive the benefits of a short rest.
- Punishment: If the dying target recovers without the client the client reduces their maximum health by 10 X The Client's proficiency bonus. If the target dies completely, the Client falls to 0 hit points.

Contract Killer
- Objective: The Client critically hits a hostile creature that is not incapacitated within 4 rounds of combat.
- Reward: The client needs 1 less on a D20 roll to critically hit.
- Punishment: The Client cannot critically hit another creature with a weapon or spell attack.

Abjurer’s Accord
- Objective: Choose a hostile spell caster that is concentrating on a spell. The Client must break their concentration within 2 rounds.
- Reward: The Client gains the Mage Slayer feat until the end of a long rest.
- Punishment: The Client is vulnerable to magic damage until the end of a long rest.

Coward’s Concord
- Objective: The Client must not take damage for 5 rounds of combat whilst remaining within 60’ of hostile creatures.
- Reward: The Client gains +2 AC until the end of a long rest.
- Punishment: The Client cannot use their Dexterity bonus for their AC until the end of a long rest.
Devilish Secrets
6th-level College of Contracts feature
Starting at 6th level, the spells, Summon Lesser Demons, Summon Greater Demon, Planar Ally, Infernal Calling, Summon Fiend, Summon Celestial, and Conjure Celestial count as bard spells for you. Additionally, you can now cast bard spells as a ritual if it has the ritual tag.
As Agreed Upon
6th-level College of Contracts feature
At 6th level, your conjured creatures have to meet certain required standards, so they only send the best available. When you cast a spell that summons or conjures a fiend or celestial, you can use your Bardic Inspiration to enhance the spell's effects. The summoned creatures gain temporary hit points equal to the roll of your Bardic Inspiration die + your Charisma modifier
Infernal Negotiator
14th-level College of Contracts feature
Starting at 14th level, your knowledge of the hells and heavens extends far beyond most mortals. The duration for the spells learned in “Devilish Secrets” is doubled. Additionally, if a summoned creature completes a covenant, its reward will last until it drops to 0 hit points. This includes when the creature is resummoned at a later date, but only if you know how to summon the same fiend or celestial by name.
Deal in Divine
At 14th level, you’ve made deals with angels and devils both, and know how to bind the soul to signature. Provided that a chosen creature is willing. You and the creature can make a soul oath with one another. This oath can be towards any means or goals, and the target creature will generally push for better terms, but once the oath is agreed upon it takes hold. If either party in the oath breaches the agreements made, the creature in breach of contract is banished to the hells or heavens to face judgment.
