Monk
Base Class: Monk

Practitioners of the Way of the Iron Fist are unconventional martial arts masters. By learning to focus their Ki into their physical form, they utilize brute force and agile moevments to overwhelm their opponents and defend their allies.

Monk's of the Iron Fist are renowned for deflecting attacks with their Iron Skin as effectively as a suit of armor, as well as crush their foes bones as easily as a great maul. They are more short tempered and quicker to action than other more traditional Monks. They are a ferocious combatant that thrives where the conflict is thickest, harnessing their Ki into a weapon as well as a shield.

The Way of Iron

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to harness the raw power of physical might. By focusing your Ki into your body, attacks that should pierce your Unarmored defenses fall aside harmlessly, and your unarmed attacks strike with unmatched strength. You gain the following beneifits:

- You can add your Strength modifier to your Unarmored Defense Monk feature or Natural armor Racial feature.

-You can use your Strength modifier instead of your Dexterity when using any of your Monk abilities.

-When you spend a Ki point on your turn or as a reaction, you can deal additional damage on your next damage roll on that turn. For every Ki Point you spend you deal an additonal die of damage equal to your Martial Arts die.

Ki Fury

At 6th level, you gain the ability to enter a Ki focused Fury. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses on a long rest.

On your turn, you can enter a Ki Fury as a bonus action.

While in a Ki Fury, you gain the following benefits.

- You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.

- Flurry of Blows, Patient Defense, Step of the Wind, and Deflect Missiles, consume no Ki points.

- You can use your reaction to deflect the damage you take when you are hit by a melee attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Strength modifier + your monk level.

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can make an unarmed attack, as part of the same reaction, against the creature that attacked you. If you hit with this attack, you deal additional damage to the creature equal to your Martial Arts die.

Your Ki Fury lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious, or you can choose to end it early on your turn as a bonus action.

Iron Strikes

Beginning at 11th level, you learn a new martial arts technique. Focusing your Ki into your strikes allows you to lock down your opponents or completely take them out of the fight.

Once per turn, you can choose to consume additional Ki points when you use your Stunning Strike ability, causing the following effects.

2 Ki points: The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become Stunned until the start of your next turn. On a successful save the target becomes Blinded until the end of their next turn.

3 Ki points: The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or fall Unconscious for 1 minute, or until they take damage. On a successful save the target becomes Stunned until the end of their next turn.

Iron Will

At 17th level, your Iron Will lets you push through nearly any debilitating effect. When you are subjected to any effect that allows you to make a saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
