The way of the weave ripper is that of one who strives to not necessarily destroy magic but to find a purchase in the world to oppose those who dare to misuse such a powerful force. The weave is the foundation upon which all magic is cast and manipulated, it can be an extremely powerful tool for utility and for combat. But it can be easily misused however by those who seek to take it's power for their own selfish gain and goals. Training in the way of the weave ripper is to devote oneself to stopping those who misuse magic and to put an end to their tyranny and evil.

Silencing Strikes

Early in your training you learn how to strike in specific spots with your ki to temporarily block a creature's connection to the weave. Every time you make an unarmed attack against a creature they must make a Constitution saving throw or be unable to cast any spells until the end of your next turn.

Magical Resilience

As a bonus action you may grant yourself advantage on the next saving throw you make imposed on you by a spell. If it is a damaging spell you instead only take 1/4 damage instead of half on a success. This feature can only be used 3 times per long rest.

Redirect Weave

When you are targeted by a hostile spell you may choose to use your reaction to grab the weave with your own hands and redirect the effect of the spell to any target of your choosing within the original casting range of the spell. Spells that require a saving throw however use your martial arts DC instead of the original saving throw.

Magical Feedback

You've learned to use your ki to force the weave to strike back at the spellcasters you attack. Every attack you make against a creature capable of spellcasting takes an extra 1d4 force damage per hit. (This doesn't apply to spells granted by racial traits, only feats and class options).

At 17th level the d4 increases to 1d6.
