Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The flickering of a candle, the spark of a flint and steel, or the dying embers of a campfire, all have the potential to grow and engulf the world in flame—can a drop of water, a breath of air, or a mote of dust do the same?

Your innate magic comes from the power of elemental fire. Many with this power can trace their magic back to a near-death experience caused by the Great Thaw, but perhaps you were born during a heatwave so scorching hot that folk still tell stories of it, or your lineage might include the influence of beings closely tied to flame such as devils or efreet. Whatever the case, the magic of flames permeates your being.

Flame Speaker

The arcane magic you command is infused with elemental fire. You can speak, read, and write Primordial. Knowing this language allows you to understand and be understood by those who speak its dialects: Aquan, Auran, Ignan, and Terran.

Nourishing Flames

Starting at 1st level, when you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points with fire damage, you gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level + your Charisma modifier.

Heart of Fire

At 6th level, you gain resistance to fire damage. In addition, whenever you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals fire damage, fiery magic erupts from you. This eruption causes creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you to take fire damage equal to half your sorcerer level (minimum of 1).

Inner Fire

At 6th level, you gain the ability to subtly control the temperature around you.

As an action, you may raise and maintain the heat within 15-foot-radius sphere centered on you up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius). You can end this effect as a bonus action.

Pyromancer's Fury

Starting at 14th level, when you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal fire damage to the attacker and ignite them. The damage equals your sorcerer level, and until a creature takes an action to douse the fire, the target takes 1d10 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. The burning creature sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.

Fiery Soul

At 18th level, you gain immunity to fire damage.

Whenever you are subjected to fire damage, you take no damage and instead regain a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt.
