Monk
Base Class: Monk

They stand in opposition to all forms of oppression, and have honed their Ki arts to embody the principles of breaking and transgressing barriers in the name of freedom.

Undermining Strike

At 3rd Level, your Ki can be focussed on a target in order to amplify their weaknesses. Spend a Ki point on a successful strike and force your target to make a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC. If they fail, you roll an additional d4 and deduct the roll from the target's AC until the end of your next turn. The length of this effect extends to 2 rounds at 6th Level; 3 at 11th Level; and 4 at 17th Level.

Liberating Soul

At 6th Level you can use your Ki to free your allies from effects that constrain them. Once per short rest, when you touch an ally you can spend 2 Ki points to end one of the following effects: Frightened; Charmed; Slowed; or Paralysed. If an ally is being physically Grappled or Restrained, you can use this ability to give them advantage on their next roll to break this.

Weightless Body

At 11th Level, you can release yourself from the restraints of gravity itself. As a bonus action on your turn, you can spend 3 Ki points to cast Fly on yourself for 1 minute.

Will of the Untethered Soul

At 17th Level you gain the ability to exchange your own bonds to life for the strength to keep fighting. Once per long rest, you can sacrifice one of your death saves to regain 10 Ki points up to your maximum, as well as 1d10 + 10 temporary hit points.
