Monk
Base Class: Monk

This way is considered taboo among practitioners of other monastic traditions and may earn their hostility. It is often associated with rebellion, pride and arrogance, but also independence, confidence and raw power. Monks that adopt the Way of the Banished Fist are almost always self-taught and have a certain aversion to rules and traditions. This way is easily identifiable by other monks, as the Banished Fist deals in pure ki and willpower rather than traditional techniques.

Forbidden Technique

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your attacks become fierce and terrifying. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

- It must make a Wisdom saving throw. If it fails, it is frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
- It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, its speed is reduced to 0 until the end of your next turn.
- It must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, it takes additional bludgeoning damage equal to half your Monk level rounded down.

You also gain the following features permanently:

- Your Ki save DC for this subclass' features is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier.
- While you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Wisdom modifier + your Strength modifier.

Finishing Strike

At 6th level, you may make an extra unarmed attack. You may only use this ability under the following conditions:

- You must take the Attack action in your turn.
- All of your attacks must be directed at the same target.
- You may only use Finishing Strike once in your turn.

Forceful Stunning Strike

Starting at 6th level, you can strike with such precision and force that it gives pause to a creature. When you hit another creature with a melee weapon attack or unarmed attack, you can spend 1 Ki point to attempt a forceful stunning strike. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your subclass' Ki DC or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

Brutal Finisher

At 11th level, you learned how to overload a Finishing Strike with your ki. When you hit with a Finishing Strike, you may choose to spend 1 ki point to add your Monk level as damage to the attack.

Martial Mastery

At 17th level, your perfected form grants you advantage on Dexterity and Strength saving throws.

You are able to finish a set of attacks with an unerring strike. When you miss a Brutal Finisher or Finishing Strike, you may choose to spend 1 ki point to hit instead.
