Your power comes from the archfiend and queen of dragons, Tiamat. She bestows this power upon mortals almost exclusively to further her own attempts to return to the material plane. This power has also been granted to those in exchange for a great service that benefits all chromatic dragonkind or acts that bring ruin to any of Bahamut’s dealings in the world. Tiamat holds no concern for warlocks under her and will send them to their death in her name. Warlocks of Tiamat tend to share some portion of her attitude being either vain, greedy, or overconfident.

Breath of the Five

Starting at 1 level, you may use your bonus action to exhale destructive energy. Roll a d6 at the end of a short or long rest. Check the chart to determine the damage type and are of effect of your breath weapon. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type determined by the chart. At level 11 you no longer need to roll to determine your element and instead may chose it after each rest.

            The DC for this saving throw equals your Warlock spell save DC. A creature takes 2d8 damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d8 at 6 level, 4d8 at 11 level, and 5d8 at 16 level.

Once you use this feature you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Scales of the Chromatic Queen

The Tiamat warlock becomes covered in a thin layer of scales encompassing all of the chromatic dragon colors as well as a crown of horns. You have resistance to one of the following; acid, cold, fire, lightning or poison damage. The resistance is chosen at the same time as the roll for breath weapon with another roll on the same chart. At level 11 the warlock can choose the resistance.

Shape of the Dragon Queen

The warlock grows a pair of dragon wings from their back and claws on each of their fingers. The wings give the ability of short periods of flight, no more than 1 minute at a time, raising in time each level until level 20 where full flight is achievable. The claws do 1d8 slashing damage at 10 level, changing to 2d8 at 14 level and 3d8 at 20 level.

Voice of the Queen

You may cast Divine Word as a Warlock spell without expending a spell slot. You regain the ability to cast this spell in this way when you finish a long rest.
