Bounty Hunters Mark
You may only mark an enemy that has an outstanding bounty, enemy types that may have an outstanding bounty are: Bandits, local monsters, quest targets, BBEGs, thieves, etc. (and of course the DM has the last say if an enemy has a bounty or not)
Enemies that are marked take varying amounts of bonus damage based on their bounty level as described here and as determined by the DM:
small bounty <500 gold (basic bandits/monsters): 1d4
average bounty 500-999 gold (tougher bandits/monsters): 1d6
large bounty >999 gold (generally reserved for boss level enemies with some exceptions*): 1d8
This varying damage bonus increases as your level increases as described
lvl 7 - 1d6, 1d8, 1d10
lvl 14 - 1d8, 1d10, 1d12
lvl 17 - 1d10, 1d12, 1d20
* enemies with an unusually large reward or any other reason that the DM might like to add for lore reasons or fun.
Bounty Hunters Negotiation
Gain a +5 to your persuasion when negotiating prices or rewards
IMPORTANT: THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM A PROFICIENCY, it is an added bonus when in specific situations, please ask your DM if this feature applies before adding this modifier.
Target Acquisition
You now crit on a 18, 19, or 20 in combat against an enemy marked with Bounty Hunters Mark, But you don't get the normal crit bonus.
When you crit an enemy that is marked with Bounty Hunters Mark, you may choose 2 bonuses:
1. get the normal crit bonus
2. Instantly gain half of the gold the enemy is worth
3. gain an extra attack for each action this round
4. use second wind for free
5. give 1d6 inspiration dice to an ally (cuz your crit was so cool it inspired them)
6. disengage for free and refresh your movement
Ricochet
You can ignore all cover if a target is near a wall they are not hiding behind and get a +5 to hit, OR you can automatically hit and take a -3 to your damage (with a minimum of one damage).
if the target is affected with Bounty Hunters Mark, then you can instead deal one additional Bounty Hunters Mark bonus damage without a modifier to hit.
Renown
Rewards for doing requests and quests will be a minimum of X gold's worth of items or gold unless you decline payment or allow it to be lower.
it scales as described:
lvl 10: 1000 gold's worth of items or gold
lvl 15: 5000 gold's worth of items or gold
lvl 20: 10000 gold's worth of items or gold.
