Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks from this tradition felt their bodies weren’t enough, and began incorporating magic into their fighting, primarily in the form of a third hand. They have mastered combining magic with their own body, and using is to their advantage.

Third hand

When you take this tradition at third level, your training in the way of the tri-hand begins to show. You learn the mage hand cantrip and can cast it as a bonus action on your turn. Additionally this hand acts as a hand of your own, it can do anything your hand can do, but it can’t feel texture, sensation, or temperature, although you can tell if there is something in the hand and its general shape. Also, you can make unarmed strikes from the hand. However, the number of unarmed strikes you can make per turn from the hand cannot exceed your wisdom modifier.

Beginning magic

Also at 3 third level, you have learned some other forms of magic to increase your versatility. You make pick 2 wizard cantrips and a first level wizard spell, which you can cast using 1 ki point. You can also cast this spell at a higher level, using 1 additional ki point per level you wish you upcast it.

Protective hand

Starting at 6th level, while your mage hand is in your space, you have a +2 to Strength saves and your AC. This benefit can benefit any of your allies, but only one at a time, and you must be able to see an ally for them to benefit from this feature.

Relentless misdirection

Beginning at 11th level, your mage hand can use your deflect missiles feature, if the hand is in your space and you have 1 free hand, you can add your wisdom modifier to the damage reduced by deflect missiles, additionally if the mage hand is in your space and you use it to successfully deflect the missile, you don’t need to spend a ki point to throw it. Additionally the range of your mage hand increases by 30 feet.

Tactical perfection

Your mastery over the 3rd hand is impeccable, starting at 17th level while the hand is in your space, any attacks made by the hand are made at advantage.
