Base Class: Paladin
Sentinels of the material realm, its echoes, and the innermost planes that connect with it, paladins of this oath possess a unique ability to manipulate the Ethereal Plane—more specifically, the Border Ethereal. They use this power as a means of being aware of the extradimensional movements of their enemies, a tool to surprise their opponents in battle, and a method to travel to other planes of existence. Sometimes called ether knights or phantom soldiers, these warriors ceaselessly patrol the planes closest to the material to seek out potential dimensional rifts and incursions.

Channel Divinity
3rd-level Oath of the Boundary feature
Rend Space. When you make a melee weapon attack, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity to grant your strike the power to split reality. This attack can target creatures on the Ethereal Plane within your reach (or creatures on a bordering plane if you are in the Ethereal Plane), and a tear in the fabric of the universe erupts from you in the form of a 20-foot-long, 5-foot-wide line. The line affects both the Ethereal Plane and any bordering plane. Each creature within the line must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 3d6 force damage and be shunted into the Ethereal Plane or a currently bordering plane, whichever it isn't already present in. A creature shunted in this way returns to its original location at the end of its next turn.
Phantom Traversal. As an action, you can touch an object or solid surface and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to transform it into an ethereal state. A portion of the object or surface that fits within a 5-foot cube becomes intangible, temporarily phased into the Ethereal Plane until the end of your next turn. During this time, a creature can move through this material as if it were difficult terrain. Creatures or objects within the material when it returns to its normal state are harmlessly shunted to the nearest unoccupied space.
