Heartening Laughter

At 3rd level, your infectious laughter can bolster the spirits of your allies. When you use Bardic Inspiration, you can choose to grant the target temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your Bard level. If the target of your Bardic Inspiration is unconscious, they do not gain temporary hit points, but are immediately brought back to consciousness with 1 HP.

Upon joining the College of Levity at 3rd level, your performances become truly unforgettable. As a bonus action, you can choose to expend 1 uses of Bardic Inspiration to trigger a random effect from the Whimsical Performance table below on a creature of your choice within 60 ft. The targeted creature must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your spell save DC to resist your charms.

Gleeful Performance

At 6th level, your performances become truly unforgettable.

Whenever you make a Charisma-based ability check or saving throw, you can choose to roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add the result to the roll. Additionally, as an action, you can use 2 charges of your Bardic Inspiration feature to make a performance so hilarious that a number of creatures of your choice equal to your Charisma modifier within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or fall prone, incapacitated with laughter until the end of their next turn.

Loyal Audience

At 14th level, your mastery of levity earns you the adoration of a troupe of mischievous pixies, who become your loyal audience. They flit around you in a 10 ft. radius

You can use your action to tell a joke to your pixies. Their laughter creates an Aura of Frivolity in a 30-foot radius surrounding you. This aura grants the following benefits:

Aura of Frivolity

  • Each creature of your choice within the radius gains temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your Bard level.
  • Friendly creatures within 30 feet of you have advantage on all saving throws and resistance to psychic damage.
  • Enemies within the radius must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Bard spell save DC. Creatures that fail become outlined in a dim light that illuminates a 10-foot radius. Any attack roll against an affected creature or object has advantage if the attacker can see it, and the affected creatures can't benefit from being invisible.

Once you use this feature, you can not do so again until you complete a long rest.
