Base Class: Monk
Dark Fist
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to infuse your unarmed strikes with dark energy. This allows you to deal extra necrotic damage equal to your Martial Arts die when you hit with an unarmed strike. Spend 1 ki point to activate this ability.
Murderous Spirit's Curse
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your connection to the Murderous Spirit grants you resistance to necrotic damage, fortifying your body against the darkness within.
Darkened Soul
At 6th level, you can use your ki to curse a creature, allowing you to sap the strength of your foes with dark magic. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to cast hex, without providing material components.
Raging Demon
Channel your inner darkness to teleport to a creature you can see within 30 feet and unleash a barrage of devastating strikes infused with dark energy, dealing weapon damage equal to your Martial Arts die + necrotic damage equal to your proficiency modifier. Spend 3 ki points to initiate this technique, making additional unarmed strikes for each ki point spent beyond the initial 3. Each successful strike deals extra necrotic damage equal to your Martial Arts die + weapon damage equal to your proficiency modifier. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your monk save DC. On a failed save, the target suffers additional necrotic damage, equal to 5 times the number of strikes you made. If this ability reduces the target to 0 hit points, you regain ki points equal to half the number of ki points spent on this ability (rounded down).
Embrace the Darkness
Upon attaining 17th level, your bond with the Murderous Spirit reaches its zenith. Gain immunity to necrotic damage, rendering you impervious to the dark forces that once threatened to consume you. When you cast Hex using your Darkened Soul feature, you can choose to afflict up to three creatures with the curse, spreading your malevolent influence far and wide.
