Way of the Lightning Fist

Monks following this path gain control of electricity as they grow stronger.

Lightning Reflexes

When you choose this monastic tradition at 3rd level, you gain lightning-fast reflexes, granting you advantage on Dexterity saving throws. You also gain advantage on Initiative rolls.

Thunderous Strikes

At 6th level, your unarmed strikes crackle with electrical energy. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can expend 1 ki point to deal additional lightning damage equal to your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier.

Electric Aura

Upon reaching 11th level, you can surround yourself with crackling electricity. As a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki points to activate your Electric Aura for 1 minute. While active, any creature that hits you with a melee attack takes lightning damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Storm's Resilience

At 17th level, you have mastered control over electricity. You gain resistance to lightning damage, and you can spend 3 ki points to cast the call lightning spell (without requiring concentration) once per long rest, using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability for it.
