Monk
Base Class: Monk

You've mastered your ki to a point where you can see through time and space and access the weave.

Ki Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells. See chapter 10 for the general rules of spellcasting and chapter 11 for the wizard spell list.

Cantrips. You learn two cantrips of your choice from the wizard spell list. You learn an additional wizard cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Cost. You spend your ki points to cast your spells. The ki point cost for each spell is as follows:
Spell Level --> Ki Point Cost
1st --> 2 ki points
2nd --> 3 ki points
3rd --> 5 ki points
4th --> 6 ki points

Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher. You know three 1st-level wizard spells of your choice, two of which you must choose from the divination and transmutation spells on the wizard spell list. The Spells Known column of the Way of the Arcane Spellcasting table shows when you learn more wizard spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be a divination or transmutation spell of your choice. At 7th level in this class you learn to cast spells of 2nd level, at 13th level in this class you learn to cast 3rd level spells and finally when you reach 19th level in this class you learn to cast spells of 4th level. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level. The spells you learn at 8th, 14th, and 20th level can come from any school of magic. Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the wizard spells you know with another spell of your choice from the wizard spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you can cast, and it must be a divination or transmutation spell, unless you’re replacing the spell you gained at 8th, 14th, or 20th level.

Spellcasting Ability. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your wizard spells. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. You use your ki save DC for your wizard spells and you use your wisdom when making an attack roll with one.

Deflect Magic

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your mastery of ki to protect yourself som magical attacks. You can use your Deflect Missiles monk feature on ranged spell attacks and the magic missile spell.

Martial Magic

At 6th level, you gain the ability to mash your spellcasting with your martial arts. When you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action. Additionally, when you use your Flurry of Blows monk feature you can replace one of the unarmed strikes with a cantrip.

Dispelling Strike

When you hit a target with an unarmed strike you can spend 3 ki points to cast Dispel Magic on the target using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability.

You can spend additional ki points to cast Dispel Magic as a higher level spell. Each additional ki point you spend increases the spell's level by 1. The maximum number of ki points (3 plus any additional points) that you can spend on the spell equals half your monk level.

Move Between Time and Space

At 17th level your mastery of ki and the weave allows you to bend reality around you. As an action on your turn you enter a meditative state of deep concentration (as if concentrating on a spell) during which you are incapacitated. If at the start of your next turn you are still concentrating on your meditation you can spend 6 ki points to cast the Time Stop spell.

When you cast Time Stop in this way your unarmed strikes against other creatures do not end the spell early. The creatures take all accumulated damage from any unarmed strikes you hit them with when the spell ends. Any other effect that affects a creature other than yourself still ends the spell early as normal, even if they are associated with your unarmed strikes. For example, if you use your Stunning Strike monk feature after hitting another creature with an unarmed strike during this casting of the Time Stop spell the spell ends early.
