Base Class: Cleric
A Xanthar tiefling sits in a tavern, quietly taking in all the information being spoken around them, and when guards enter into the building the Tiefling seems to fade into the shadows and vanish from sight.
A Drow fights with her allies. Raising her hand as a dark shroud covers the enemies' faces and blinds them. Giving her fellows the opprtunity to escape or easily retaliate. She covers them in a blanket of shadows, making their getaway even easier.
Obumbrati's most devout pledge their favor to her and are rewarded with her favor. Clerics of the Shadow domain are at home in the dark and the background. As followers of Obumbrati, they are skilled information gatherers, and use that information to their own end. They are skilled in affecting others, keeping themselves out of sight, and operating from the comfort of the shadows. Most kingdoms have a Shadow Cleric or two acting as spies for their own purposes, but the Clerics that are most dangerous are the ones that work either for themselves or for hire.

Bonus Proficiency
1st-level Shadow Domain feature
You gain proficiency with martial weapons.
Gaze from the Shadows
1st-level Shadow Domain feature
You can see through the darkest shadow. You have darkvision out to a range of 120 feet. In that radius, you can see in dim light as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light.
In addition, when in total darkness you can also see through magical darkness up to 30 ft around you.
Channel Divinity: Umbral Shroud
2nd-level Shadow Domain feature
You can use your Channel Divinity to blind your enemies with the shadows around them.
As an action, you present your holy symbol, and dark shrouds cover the faces of your enemies. Each enemy within 60 ft of you must make a Charisma Saving Throw against your DC, on a failure they are blinded until they take damage or until another creature uses their action to wipe it off.
Melt into Darkness
6th-level Shadow Domain feature
When in dim light or darkness you can use an action to become invisible until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier. When you are invisible in this way spells of the enchantment or illusion school with a casting time of an action can be cast using a bonus action.
You regain all expended uses upon finishing a long rest.
Divine Strike
8th-level Shadow Domain feature
You gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Speed of Intrigue and Cloak of Shadow
17th-level Shadow Domain feature
While moving through dim light or darkness, you have advantage on stealth checks. In addition, as a reaction, when an enemy moves within 5 feet of you, you can move half your walking speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Also, twice per long rest, you are able to cloak yourself in shadows. As a bonus action, you can dim the lighting 5 ft around you. Bright light dims to dim light, and dim light dims to darkness. This effect lasts for a minute while in bright light, or indefinitely while in dim light or darkness.
In addition, for a minute while the cloak is active in darkness not created by use of this feature, magical and non-magical darkness within 60ft of you is considered difficulty terrain for your enemies. Friendly creatures within 60ft of you, in darkness, can cast Illusion and Enchantment spells with a casting time of one action as a bonus action.
